• An amazing tour -- but also many sales pitches

  The tour here was the whole reason we took a trip to Mexico. I loved almost everything about the tour, from the zest of the guide for local history, to our bus tour guide who was very funny, to the smooth navigation of the bus driver. Getting to the Yucatan early was essential in not completely frying, as the temps peaked around 108 degrees that day. We went to a Cenote after and the cool water was absolutely welcome and needed. I think the only negatives were that there were a lot of moments that made us feel very pressured to spend or buy. I think that the tour company had some partnerships throughout, so many moments on the bus felt like a little sales pitch for a local. I get it, but it became overwhelming at times, between the star charts that were being sold to the pictures with a parrot that were thrust upon guests, to even just tipping after the tour was over (we would've tipped, surely, but the pressure was piled throughout for not only tips, but BIG tips).

  Interesting sites with well organized tour. Guide Manuel and driver Alfred were professional and nice. Pickup was smooth and ontime and van was nicely air conditioned. Recommend.

• Early morning bus/guided tour to Chichen Itza

  Going early was definitely the best idea as less busy, and cooler. Amigo Tours were brilliant in terms of providing clear, helpful advice about pick ups and drop offs, so the whole trip was stress free and relaxed. The driver was great, and the coach was comfortable and air conditioned. Plus, they fully appreciated the need to stop for a comfort break! The guide Paul was really helpful, informative and great company. My 16 year old and I really enjoyed it and we would definitely recommend using Amigo Tours if you want a stress free, enjoyable trip to Chichen Itza. Would also strongly recommend going early, plus they did appreciate that everyone was tired at 5am too. Really nice other tourists on the trip too, which was a bonus.

  My husband and I had a wonderful day with our two guides, Marcela and Rodrigo, two truly passionate individuals who shared their knowledge with us in a joyful, friendly, and welcoming way! Guides who make all the difference to this experience, and for that reason, we recommend Amigo Tour 1000%! A huge thank you to our bus driver, Enrique, who covered 600km that day while making us feel safe and secure. The bus was in excellent condition, and the organization was truly top-notch!   I had an amazing trip to Chichén Itzá thanks to Juam and Jesus! Juam was such a fantastic tour guide. Friendly, knowledgeable, passionate, and he made the whole experience so interesting and fun. You can really tell he loves what he does. Jesus was also an excellent driver. Professional, kind, and made us feel safe and comfortable throughout the entire trip. Thank you both for making this experience so memorable. I would highly recommend this tour (especially with Juam and Jesus) to anyone visiting the area!

  If you just want to see Chichen Itza and back to your hotel. This is the tour for you. Our guide Frank and our driver Jose was amazing. Picked is up 5am early in the morning and got us back in our hotel room by 230pm. Frank was very informative and Jose was a safe driver. Would recommend.

  It is an impressive place, especially for the main pyramid. I really enjoyed learning about Mayan culture while touring the site. It’s pretty hot, so it’s important to be prepared, but it’s definitely worth it.

  Amazing place, Chichen Itza. The drive is long but we made pit stops. We anrrived early before the crowds . Our guide Kevin was very knowledgeable and informative regarding the Mayan history. The driver was kind and courteous . Highly recommended.
