3.00Rohit was great but did not grow up in Puducherry so on one hand provided some good context but on the other hand was not a local. He spoke French (impressive) and we did some of the markets, Good way to walk the city.

3.00A small tourist destination. Auroville was most interesting. The colonial history seems to be everywhere. The sunday market at MG road , excellent bargains.
