5.00The tour of Mont Saint-Michel was a wonderful experience. Our guide, David, was extremely knowledgeable and personable. During the drive from Bayeux to the Abbey, David provided us with very useful background information, which he built upon during the tour of the various aspects of Mont Saint-Michel. There is a lot of walking on this tour, with many steps. David was mindful of the different capabilities of people in our tour and customized aspects of his presentations as appropriate. We cannot say enough good things about this tour or our guide. We would recommend this to anyone -- and we were pleasantly surprised when we found out that David was going to be the guide scheduled for our tour of D-Day sites the next day!

5.00Loved our guide Gwendahl. He did such a good job covering the centuries of history at Mont Saint Michel in a succinct, comprehensible and amusing way. During our tour of the Mont, he pointed out important and sometimes easy to miss details, deepening our understanding and making our experience that much richer. Highly recommend!

4.00Friendly guide and full access to the abbey. The pickup at the hotel is very helpful, as the departure is quite early (8 AM). If you desire a longer visit, I recommend another option, as this one only lasts from 10 AM to 2 PM (about 2.5 hours of guided tour and 1.5 hours of free visit).
