3.00This is advertised as a full day tour. Picked up at 0800 and guide talked for short while. Arrived at destination . Waited in line for bus .Then went on tour with guide until 1230. Met him at van at 1410 and left for Bayeux. Guide talked in van about cheese and calvados on the trip home. Seemed less than full day guided tour

5.00Be prepared. It is a steady upward climb toward the top. But well worth the effort. We loved this tour. We learned so much of the history of Mont St Michel. It was a very hot day and lots of people but we could still enjoy the tour. Walking back to visitor center (our choice) was a hot 45 minute ordeal but it was good to see the abbey from the road.

5.00Our guide today, I believe, Loreal, was excellent. Extremely knowledgeable and was a very good driver on busy roads. We were very happy with the operator and this trip in particular.

4.00Julie (spelling?), our tour guide, did an excellent job of touring us through Mont-St-Michel. Her descriptions were excellent, she was funny at the appropriate times, and she was fun to be with. Her tour of the Abbey/Monastery never felt rushed. However, we would have liked our 1.5 hours of free time for lunch, exploring on our own, and souvenir shopping to have been an half hour longer, given that simply exiting the Abbey/Monastery took quite a while due to the crowds. Our tour departed promptly at 8:00 AM and returned at 4:00 PM, just as Julie promised. Personally, besides the extra time at Mont-St-Michel, I would have preferred a bit of a delay, as the weather conditions did not present ideal driving conditions on our way back.
A wonderful tour I’d highly recommend!

5.00The tour was really good! My only complaint was that we signed up for a small group tour, 8 people max., and there were 14 people on our tour. Why were there 14 people on a 8 person tour??? Please respond.

5.00Wonderful tour highly recommend Emily. We met our guide Emily and what was to be a party of 8 ended up to be 4. Long story short the tour ended up as a private tour with just Emily and us. Emily was so knowledgeable about the monastery, the history and overall general knowledge of the area. Highly recommend
