• Great trip, but expensive.

  I went on this trip with my husband who is disabled and had a mobility scooter, which I was expecting to fold up, but the vehicle was big enough for it to go In without folding, which was helpful and my elderly mother came with us. The guide was very helpful to them both. This was a lovely trip to a tulip farm, with a museum. Which was lovely. The guide came around with us and was knowledgeable about tulip farming. We were able to take 5 tulips (with bulbs attached) home. We were there for about an hour. We then travelled to the Keukenhauf gardens. The guide escorted us into the gardens and we had just over 2 hours there. The gardens were stunning and even though we were at the end of the season, there were still an incredible amount of full flowers out, which were stunning. We were returned back to our ship. Our guide was very good, polite and knowledgeable and very smart, wearing a suit. The entry tickets were pre-paid by the guide, which made entry easy. The only reason it’s not a five star is that when it was booked it said it was a limousine and I had assumed it was a stretch limo! It was a 6 seater luxury Mercedes vehicle. The other reason is that I feel the price was far too high for the trip as they had similar vehicles at the dock as taxis, which I believe would have been cheaper to go by (although there wouldn’t have been a guide).
