Temple of the Emerald Buddha

エメラルド仏（Phra Kaew Morakot）は、タイで最も重要な仏像で、青翡翠から鋳造されている。 1434年にチェンライで倒壊したストゥーパの中から発見された。時を経て、ランパン、チェンマイ、ロッブリーを経て、1784年にラーマ1世がバンコクに運び、王宮のワット・プラケーオに安置されている。非常に崇拝されているエメラルド仏は、季節ごとに黄金のローブをまとっており、国王は年に3回交代し、宗教的帰依とタイの守護の両方を象徴している。

The Grand Palace

グランドパレスは1782年、ラーマ1世が即位し、新王朝を建国した際にバンコクの建国とともに建設された。グランドパレスは、かつて州のパラジウムであった場所として非常に重要です。絶対王政の官制において、王室の住居と国の行政の中心の両方に用いられた。現在では、宮殿は儀礼のためだけに使われている。この宮殿の建築プランは、かつての首都アユタヤのグランドパレス（約600年前）と細部までほぼ同一でした。これは、国王がかつての都市の栄光をそのまま再現したかったためです。ですから、完全に最初に伝統的なタイ様式で建てられました。しかし、19世紀初頭にラーマ3世王が伝えた中国語要素と、19世紀後半にラーマ5世王が伝えた西洋建築様式など、さまざまな時代において他国の影響がタイの建築に影響を与えている。

Peter made our Bangkok trip unforgettable. He was knowledgeable but also very warm and easy to talk to. The Grand Palace was even more beautiful than pictures online. The Reclining Buddha temple was one of the highlights because of the peaceful feeling inside. The Temple of Dawn had amazing details everywhere you looked. Peter shared many interesting facts but also kept the tour light and fun. The whole day was very smooth and well managed. Great experience from beginning to end.

We visited all three temples and they were all stunning. Alex was incredibly helpful and always had a smile. The giant Reclining Buddha temple is mind-blowing. Alex is best guide!

Preecha was such a kind and caring guide. He always checked if we needed water or wanted a short break because the weather was very hot that day. The Grand Palace was absolutely stunning and full of history. The Reclining Buddha temple was huge and so beautiful in real life. I also loved visiting the Temple of Dawn because the design was so different from other temples. Preecha made everything easy and stress free for us. I would definitely book another tour with him again.

The planning of this trip was excellent. Tip made sure we skipped the long lines and had a very smooth experience at the Grand Palace. The Temple of Dawn was beautiful in the afternoon light. Tip is an amazing guide and very mindful of our needs. Highly recommend the management!

Athens was one of the nicest tour guides I have ever met. He spoke clearly and explained things in a very interesting but easy way. The Grand Palace was breathtaking and definitely a must visit in Bangkok. The Reclining Buddha temple had such a relaxing atmosphere and the giant Buddha was incredible to see in person. The Temple of Dawn was so unique and beautiful. Athens made sure we had enough time at every stop and never made us feel rushed. Very professional service and a really enjoyable day overall.

Our family had a great time with Paula. Seeing the Reclining Buddha temple was a highlight for the kids. Paula was so patient and warm with everyone. The Grand Palace is a must-visit. Such a sweet and dedicated guide!

Alex was fantastic from start to finish. She had a great sense of humor and made the tour feel personal instead of rushed. I really enjoyed learning about Thai culture while visiting the Grand Palace. The Reclining Buddha temple was impressive and peaceful at the same time. The Temple of Dawn was absolutely beautiful especially by the river area. Alex also helped take many great photos for my family. Everything was organized perfectly and we never had to worry about anything during the day.

The architecture at the Temple of Dawn is incredible. Athens was such a lovely guide and really looked after every detail. Felt very well taken care of the whole time. A perfect day trip!
