We bought this walking tour and then we had to download an “Inway App” to use the tour. It says the tour is available in English, French and Spanish. We could not get the English version and had to listen to the points of interest in French. We found the directions difficult to follow as it did not give directions. It only told you when you were off the tour. You followed the blue line for the points of interest but the blue line was difficult to follow. One minute you were following it and the next you were off the path and you were given a red warning to get back on the path. We’ve done other walking audio tours but this one was not user friendly.

The audio wouldn’t come on unless you were standing in the exact spot so it was not very useful to me. I just wanted to hear the history and highlights while I was walking around.

It was a little bit difficult to get the code. And the location accuracy was not great. Some stops were wrong or off location.

Very very good experience! I visited Annecy and was able to discover the city in perfect autonomy, which is really ideal when you travel alone and especially when you do not know the city at all and you have no idea what to visit. The route is very clear and easy to follow, and the voice is really nice to listen to. The tour offers content on the history of the city and monuments, without it becoming long, it is precise, well dosed and super interesting. Even practical information such as the location of public toilets is indicated, which is very welcome and shows that everything has been thought out to facilitate the visit.
