As a solo traveler, I appreciated how straightforward this tour was. Everything was clearly organized from pickup to return. I didn’t feel out of place in the group. Florence was definitely the highlight for me. Our guide, Elena, explained things clearly and kept us on schedule.
Misleading and not worth it

Do not book this excursion, the description is very misleading and you will be paying almost triple for the same excursion that you can buy at the port for a fraction of the price. You will get on a bus that will take you into Florence, you will then have free time on your own or go on a walking tour with the guide that will not tell you about anything you are seeing and will just get you from one stop to the next. You will then get back on the bus and go to Pisa and have about an hour to explore and get back on the bus to go to the cruise terminal. This tour is listed for $104 (starting) however if you buy it in the port it will cost you $30.

Despite a smaller than normal group the owner did not cancel the tour and accomplished the few of us the courtesy of having us picked up at cruise dock. His tour guide Matteo__( Oct 17th tour ) was fantastic and insured that we visited everything with minimum walking and great directions for each regrouping after free time and for returning to the bus. Matteo__ (hope ihave his name right) was efficient, entertaining, knowledgeable and spoke great English. Excellent tour selection on our part. Recommend this company highly. Thanks

A very good day. The tour was well organised and very professionally managed. Staff were great and always very attentive and helpful. Just the right balance between giving us info on where we were but also giving us plenty of free time to do our own thing. Recommended.
