  I had a lesson early in the morning and an instructor was not there at the scheduled time. I quickly was able to get into contact with Ryan who remedied the situation and provide me with the lesson. I appreciated the beach lesson to begin because it gave me an understanding of how to navigate the waves and where to position myself. Ryan on the first wave gave me two things to focus on helping me build my confidence catching a wave. By the end of the lesson I was able to catch waves myself with Ryan helping with timing. I would recommend lessons through California Surf Experience to anyone.

  We had two private surf sessions with Alex and had the best time! Alex was very patient and helpful. He introduced us to the board and taught us about positioning and pop-up. We soon entered the water after a quick safety induction and had great fun catching waves. Due to weather conditions, the location for the sessions was changed, so we could still enjoy catching waves and having fun on the boards. Highly recommend!! Also Ryan on the organisational site was amazing and very cooperative.
