5.00It looks like we are the first to take this tour and do a review of it. So, here goes.. We were picked up at our hotel right on time, and then driven to Fátima where we walked the street and shops on our way to the Wax Museum. It is a must if you are going to Fátima . We then got to see the plaza, had our pictures taken at the Berlin Wall monument, and then to the main chapel. Leaving Fátima we went to Nazaré and the overlook of the city, beaches, and Atlantic. We had lunch there in a very fine restaurant that overlooks the beaches. From there to the Batalha Monastery, and also the Alcobaça Monastery where we had not only entry tickets, but privileged entry to areas that many of the bus tours did not include in their itineraries. This was our second day trip with Mr. Forte; the first was to the Roman Ruins, which is highly recommended. Mr. Forte took the time to explain and answer each and every question we had about Portugal and the places we visited on the tours. His driving was safe and he makes you feel secure as he navigates the back roads and highways. The tour includes professional photographs of you and yours at each location; these are emailed to you AFTER you return to your home. This is not the lowest cost tour of Fátima as you can obtain tours out of Lisboa for less, but it is the BEST TOUR for which you will contract. The attention to detail and the knowledge base of Mr. Forte makes the difference.
