料理の旅は、セーデルマルムの南の玄関口、スカンストゥルから始まります。 かつては工業地帯であったが、伝統と現代の都市生活が出会う活気ある地区へと進化している。 ブティックやカフェ、地元企業などが立ち並ぶ賑やかなゲッタン通りを散策します。 まずは60年以上の歴史を持つ家族経営のシーフードショップで、珍味を味わいながらスウェーデンの豊かな漁業の伝統について学びます。 トレンディなSoFoを歩きながら、職人のチーズや生肉から伝統的なスウェーデン料理とモダンなスウェーデン料理まで、厳選されたレストランや専門店を訪れます。 道中では、この地域の歴史、文化、料理の遺産を探索します。 旅の締めくくりは、30年近く手作りのプラリネやペストリー、ケーキが作られている有名なチョコレート工房。 スウェーデンのフィカで締めくくり、手作りのお菓子や濃厚なホットチョコレートを楽しみながら、風味豊かなセーデルマルム散策の締めくくりに。

5.00We had a great time with Oliver over 3 1/2 hours learning lots about the Swedish culinary culture and history. Our tummy’s were completely full but the end! We highly recommend this tour - lots of stops at what look to be uber local places and lovely food choices. Easy walking and the day was stellar in terms of weather so a perfect ambiance to enhance the overall experience. We have done lots of food tours and this ranks in our top list.

5.00I cannot say enough good things about this tour and about our guide, Kristen, who was funny, enthusiastic, and very knowledgeable. The six well-chosen stops offered us tasting menus that provided a range af Swedish flavors, from herring to meatballs and even surstromming-flavored salt. (I doubt I could have handled actual surstromming!) Thank you, Kristen, for a fantastic afternoon!

3.00The guide was very friendly. But I didn’t think all the places they took us to were good Swedish food choices. For example, we went to a Ramen restaurant and the ramen was tasteless.

5.00Kristen was a wonderful guide for our afternoon walking tour of Södermalm, friendly, warm, and knowledgeable with a passion for both the culture and the history of the neighborhood. Portions were frequently generous, so I wouldn’t plan a large meal before or after if you’d like to finish each dish. Highly recommended!

5.00I love to experience new places through food but I have to admit, I did not have high expectations for Scandinavian food. WOW- was I proved wrong. This tour hit all the highlights, delicious bites, fun facts and history- all made so enjoyable by Oliver. His passion and love for Stockholm food was contagious. Highly recommend.
