5.00Sophia is a great guide and hiking companion — knowledgeable, personable, and upbeat. She also knew several fantastic local artisans who made the day trip feel that much richer and brought us closer to understanding the local community. Would recommend any time you visit Crete.

5.00There’s so many great things to say about this company where to begin! Our guide, Anna, is professional, knows the area like the back of her hand, friendly, and fun! We started our day driving to our destination in the beautiful mountains. Along the way, Anna shared many historical factoids about the area. Our first stop was at a local store that served the best coffee and homemade sweet breads. Next, we hiked the gorge - a spectacular 3.5 hr. adventure and the view back to our car was a 10! Just when you thought it couldn’t get any better, she took us to a mountain restaurant where we mingled with the locals; the chef served whatever he cook that day, and everything was local from the lamb, veggies, bread, cheese, honey and more. It really was a spectacular adventure. Highly recommend! Thank you, dear Anna! My only regret - we didn’t do more adventures with you.
