What To Expect
Saint-Malo
サン・マロでお客様をお迎えし、その後ノルマンディー上陸海岸まで車で移動してツアーが始まります。
Omaha Beach
D デイにアメリカから派遣された海上部隊の 3 分の 2 は、険しい断崖に見下ろされ、両端が石灰岩の崖で遮断された 4 マイルの海岸に向かって進水しました。この場所は「血のオマハ」と呼ばれています。 サン ローラン セメールの記念碑に立ち寄り、海岸沿いにヴィエルヴィル セメールまでドライブします。州兵の記念碑に立ち寄ります。

5.00Fantastic!! Yves was the best tour guide. He was also our driver which was so great because we were able to talk there and back. Not only did it make the 2 hour ride go by faster, but he educated us about the sites we drive past as related to WW2. He also taught us more about the region in general along the ride. As for the tour itself, spot on! His passion for history really came through. As we stood at the American cemetery during the time he gave us to pause and reflect, I over heard two other English speaking guides who were just speaking as if translating a script. Yves spoke perfect English, was animated, held our attention. He added to the tour with his own drone images of the region which really helped us get a sense of the massive scale of the operation.
