  Jeff was simply exceptional and provided me and my family with a memorable day around the Mt. Fuji area. Even with it raining, he curated an incredible experience visiting different local attractions. I couldn’t recommend him and this tour enough

• Mt Fuji surrounding area

  We did the surrounding areas of Mt Fuji with an excellent guide named, Sam. We got lucky and was able to see Mt Fuji on a couple of our stops before the clouds rolled in. Sam suggested the Arakurayama Sengen shrine pagoda first while Mt Fuji was visible and he absolutely nailed it. Sam also answered any and all of our questions with detail and enthusiasm throughout our tour. He was friendly and very easy to talk to. His English was great and communicated everything clearly. He was a great guide during each of our stops, telling us where to take the best pictures, and also taking pictures of our family for us. He gave us options along the way in case we wanted to change anything or add anything to our itinerary, given our time allocation. We learned about Japanese culture and how ppl live with all of our different questions. Definitely recommend booking with Viator and especially recommend our guide, Sam. Thank you Sam for such a great, memorable tour!

  Our driver/guide Sam was awesome! Gave great information when driving us around and was super friendly. Took us to different spots to try and see Mt. Fuji (it was rainy).

  Fantastic tour. Everything was on time and as described in the itinerary. You get to see and do so much. The sights were beautiful Haseeb was a wonderful tour guide and made sure we had a great time. He gave us a lot of options and tailored our experience incredibly well, avoiding crowds and adapting to the weather. Thanks Haseeb!

  The trip was great. I enjoyed the speed boat ride. The food at the old village. The 5th station had good views, but the horse trail was a little dull. On the way there the Mille apple custard pies at the rest stop were delicious, I wish I would have bought more for way back. Near the 5th station, there was a delicious Wagyu bbq restaurant. The Mt Fuji Pagoda had some good views. The driver was good, he was open to suggestions and friendly. With google maps and reviews, just do some research and make requests.

  Our family is visiting Japan from the USA and traveling up the Golden Route. We had booked this Mt. Fuji tour for one of our days in Tokyo. Pro tip: check the weather around Fuji to book a day with good weather, partly cloudy weather actually made our visit very beautiful! It’s about a 2 hour drive through a scenic country road with beautiful mountains, You will get a break about halfway where you can get some great traditional Japanese food. Our tour guide, Dan, was super friendly and easy-going so the ride there and back was very pleasant! When you get to Fuji you will be blown away by the shear size of this colossal volcano. I’ve never seen anything quite like it, it is truly majestic. You will be able to stop and look at it from about halfway up where you are above the clouds, a few great spots along the trail back down the mountain, from a pretty little town near the foot of the mountain, from the lakeside (you got to try the ice cream here), and lastly from a popular shrine and pagoda up an adjacent mountain. All the spots we went to were absolutely breath-taking. If you are here to see Japan in all its beauty and glory, this tour is a must for your itinerary!   Our Mount Fuji day trip with Israr was wonderful from start to finish. He was friendly, professional, and highly knowledgeable about the region, sharing interesting facts about Mount Fuji, local history, and Japanese culture throughout the journey.
