5.00This was a very educational experience. We learned about the former king’s palace, the history of the university, the chapel where the Kings worshipped and the Coimbra library, which was beautiful.

5.00Our guide was Renan and he was fabulous! The tour was just not about the University but about the history of Portugal including cultural aspects. His knowledge of Portugal history is unbelievable. And his delivery was great. Run, don't walk to his tours.

5.00Renan is a passionate, knowledgeable, and friendly guide that provided a detailed overview of the history of Portugal, Coimbra, the University, and insights into the monument itself. Our group of four had a wonderful time and I would highly recommend this tour.
