  This is our third time visiting Sao Miguel and we always book with Delfim. His knowledge of the island, its history, the geological formations, the topography is vast and frankly, he must know everyone on the island! This trip was with my family and my sister's family and our adult children. We booked three days of tours with Delfim and Marcio for our stay. They were very flexible as to what we wanted to do and see. The weather changes on a dime and they were adept at tweaking our itinerary according to what would be ideal.   The best experiences on the island. The Delfim was tireless, showed us beautiful areas, explained how the Azores formed in a detailed but super simple way. Although we did one tour day, he was always available in the remaining days to help us with fantastic tips. Thank you for everything Delfim and Alice

  Our guide Gonzales made sure we were all comfortable and the vehicle was perfect for our party. We had so many great experiences and saw so many things on Sao Miguel that we wouldn’t have been able to see or do without his knowledge and help. We had a great lunch at a local buffet serving so many local specialties, and we did so many things during this day that it was truly amazing. We never felt rushed or tired and laughed so much, and were overwhelmed by the beauty of what we experienced

  Luis our your guide was absolutely brilliant!! Being less mobile, he planned our day to suit our disabilities. It was a fun & informative experience!   Perfect day, Luis did a great job. We visited Furnas and various intermediate destinations. Luis had lots of extra info and a great tip for lunch

  This tour was a highlight of our 15-day transatlantic cruise. We had friends that did the Royal Caribbean (ship) excursion and from what we heard, there is just no comparison. Our driver and tour operator Luis was amazing! He took us on dirt "paths" to viewpoints that no bus would ever get to. We did visit the main tourist attractions but also spent a lot of time "off road". We requested lunch at a local's restaurant and again, Luis came through. I ordered the Azores specialty - Octopus, and while it was not my favorite, I can see how people would like it. This whole day was just so much fun! We had the opportunity to customize our tour but mostly just had Luis take us to his favorite spots.

  Pur time with Luis was wonderful. He took us to beautiful areas on the island. Some of the areas needed a 4x4, so it was great to have those available. He asked us what we wanted to see and customized the day to us. He has a great knowledge of the island, not only places to visit but also the history. He was fun and pleasant. We would highly recommend Luis.

  Prior to the excursion i made email enquiry for further details of the tour which was promptly responded to, and the booking process was simple. Our guide was Luis, who was waiting for us as we got of the ship and was easy to find. He was a good and safe driver, gave us helpful advice on how to spend the day and where to go. He was very knowledgeable about the island and made our day interesting and fun. This was an un-rushed tour and done at our own pace. Being in a 4wd vehicle made places accesible that you wouldn't be able to access in a coach or car. An excellent day out which was good value- especially when compared to the price of tours the ship was offering, plus could go where you wanted and stop anywhere. Highly recommend, especially Luis
