Walking Through the Past, Tasting the Present: Historical Walk + Food Tour
Listen up, all you time travelers and foodies out there! We're about to take you on a journey back to the Middle Ages, where fairy tales come to life and snacks are the name of the game. Our guide knows the city inside and out, and they'll show you all the best landmarks and monuments while keeping you entertained with hilarious jokes and stories.
But let's get real - the real star of the show is the food. We've got cheese, waffles , chocolates, fries, and of course, beer (because you can't go to Belgium and not try some of their amazing brews).
Our small group tours (max 8 people) mean you'll get to know your fellow foodie travelers and enjoy a personalized experience. But if you're feeling extra fancy and want your own private tour, just let us know and we'll hook you up.

5.00It was an absolutely amazing tour that started as a 3 hour tour and turned into a 4 hour tour! Maria was one of the most knowledgeable, passionate and enjoyable tour guides we have experienced in our extensive travels in Europe! It was a very high quality tour at a very reasonable cost. Highly recommended!

1.00We booked the tour weeks out. We arrived at the time and location, and no one was there. When I went to message the operator, a message appeared from the previous day asking if we would be able to change our time. There was nothing to say the tour had been cancelled or would be if we were not able to change our time. They offered us a new time 2 hours after our original start. We messaged to say we could do the 2 hour delay. The operator confirmed and said the guide would meet us then. Thirty minutes before the new time, we received a message the operator could no longer do a new time, and we were offered a time 3 hours later. There was never an explanation as to why the original time was unable to honored, and no attempt to call direct to let us know of the change. We decided to cancel the tour and receive a refund as we have already adjusted plans to try and accommodate and now we were losing time in the city. This just seemed like a very unprofessional way to handle whatever the original problem was.

5.00We all thoroughly enjoyed our tour with Maria. She was extremely personable and knowledgeable about the history of the city and region, as well as the various foods and beer that we experienced. We toured on a Friday, yet she was able to quickly get us into very busy dining venues. The food and beer were wonderful and the tour delightful

1.00Tour guide did not show up, waited about 30 minutes. Could initially not get anyone to respond to my phone calls. Calling guide only went to voice mail. Finally had to call new reservations with Viator to speak with someone. Waiting on refund. Done many tours with Viator, first disappointment.

4.00Maria provided us a wealth of historical knowledge, and the food was delicious. There was a problem with the guide for our morning tour, so we were shifted to the afternoon group. Our schedule was flexible, so this wasn’t a problem for us. However, communication in the morning was difficult and confusing, leaving us wondering what was happening. This part of the tour, overall, was very poorly handled.
