Bomun Lake
Bomun Tourist Complex is the international tourist district of Gyeongju. This tourist district is formed with Bomunho Lake at its center, located about 10km east of downtown Gyeongju. The dimensions of the area is 19.38 square km, and it is designated as a spa and special tourist district. It is a total tourist complex that opened in April 1979. At the entrance, the stream from Deokdongho Lake flows in, powering a water mill inside, and flows on to a 12m artificial waterfall.

5.00So nice joining a One-day tour to Gyeongji of Ktourstory on 8 Nov that was leaded by Mr Shin & Katy. The weather was fine, and the group of 32 enjoyed the visit to various spots with ample time for sightseeing & picturing. I was the only one from Hong Kong, while small groups from Singapore & Indonesia. The 2 guides gave consecutive introduction (in Mandarin & English) of the historic backgrounds about places to visit. About 10 of us followed the English guide Katy for questions of interest who answered gracefully with smile. Three group photos were taken which later forwarded to participants by email. In all, the itinerary and the lunch arrangement were satisfactorily dealt. The guides took good care of all including the elderly and a baby. I will come to other itinerary of Ktourstory should another visit to Korea in future.
