  Akari was a fabulous and attentive tour guide. She explained things very well and was enthusiastic about the history of Japan and Osaka. She responded to specific personal needs quickly but kept us on track to ensure we covered key sites in Ōsaka.

  We had an exceptional day long tour of Osaka. Andy, our private guide, was very knit and well informed. His perspective helped us understand how the city fits into Japanese society and culture. We were very pleased to have Andy as our personal guide.

  I had a great day exploring Osaka with Yuichi. This was my second tour with Omakase and both were wonderful. Yuichi picked me up promptly at my hotel. We visited Osaka Castle and it's grounds first. Yuichi was able to get us in, avoiding major queues and up to the top of the castle using a dedicated elevator. A real plus for me at age 79! As we walked down the eight levels I learned about the history of the castle from displays and Yuichi's commentary. Yuichi was a good conversationalist and we chatted about many things. After leaving the castle we took the subway to Kuromon Market. I had visited Nishiki Market in Kyoto both solo and with a guide before but Kuromon is much bigger! I was able to sample lots of food, including okonomiyaki, soy milk, a cream-filled croissant, a sake flight, matcha tea, and several different types of miso. Finally we walked to Dotonburi and enjoyed the exciting atmosphere of this unique area. Afterward we walked back together to the hotel in Namba.

  We had a wonderful day exploring Osaka with our guide Shoko. She was easy to talk to and very knowledgeable, happy to answer our questions about life and the history of Japan. We visited Osaka castle and museum, the food market, the housing museum and wandered around busy and bustling Osaka. Lunch was delicious! Shoko made us feel very comfortable and we did not feel at all rushed. A fabulous day. Thank you.

  Keiji was so incredibly knowledgeable with where he took us. He made sure that we were happy with where we were going and offered to take us to any place that we wanted to make sure we knew where to go. He even offered advice on how to get to our next few destinations over the next few days.

  Unfortunately so overpriced. They said travel is included. But it was the same price as what I paid for mt Fuji private tour where I was escorted in a private luxury van and provided food and had to think of nothing. We had to take trains and the tour guide had to call to check a taxi would be included when it was a walk from the station to make it to the halal food place. Beyond disappointed and really masako my tour guide was wonderful because she took me to all the places I wanted to go and had to finish the tour early as I had a samurai experience booked. I did not expect any compensation for this but when such a high charge is being taken in comparison to the other private tours - I would have thought it would have included halal food. Instead it was pick a restaurant and we will take you there which I could have done myself. I needed to know the halal spots of Kyoto by a local but there was no such knowledge and I ended up having to google it all. The ONLY reason I booked an overpriced tour was because it mentioned halal and I thought they must know how to cater well for our dietary requirements but this was not the case

  Fantastic day tour roaming the streets of Osaka. Akari was an excellent tour guide, very friendly and knowledgeable! We enjoyed trying the local takoyaki at the fish markets and exploring the Osaka castle. Would definitely recommend !

  

  

  

  

• Osaka with Miyo

  Had a fantastic time with Miyo after dropping our 6 children off to Universal Studios Japan. We ventured to Osaka Castle for our own private tour with Miyo who very kindly arranged for us to use the lifts as there are a lot of stairs. She passionately explained the history of the castle and surrounds and then took us to Kuromond Market for yakiniku for lunch. Miyo, again was fantastic and helped us order and cook our food. We cannot recommend this personalised tour with Miyo enough. She was absolutely wonderful.

• Outstanding and memorable. We felt we really experienced the city of Osaka and what it had to offer.

  Our guide, Miyo, was outstanding. She made the whole tour Osaka a truly enjoyable and memorable experience. She took us to places off the beaten track as well as making suggestions for when we would be on our own. I would absolutely recommend her and the company she represents.
