  My siblings and I enjoyed a beautiful late afternoon tour of the cemetery. The kind engaging guide and assistant provided numerous stories of the cemetery, including some notable individuals buried there, and the history of funerals and burial practices years ago. We all learned a lot, had fun, and would recommend the tour!

  We stayed at Portofino. It was great!! We dined at several restaurants and enjoyed all of them in Pensacola. Went to the naval museum and saw the Blue Angels. The beach was nice at Portofino.

  I booked this tour while on a trip to the beach for my friend's 21st birthday. The weather was a little bleak as we drove over, but once we arrived, it was a blast from the very start! The tour guide was so friendly as we made introductions, and once the tour started, he had me hanging onto his every word. Not only was the history that he shared with us completely fascinating, the way he told the stories of the many interesting people who were buried in the cemetery was absolutely compelling. Some of the things he talked about have actually made us want to come back and do some of the other tours that he recommended, and we will definitely take his tour again. If you go to the Pensacola area and do not take the tour of the St. John's Cemetery, then you are missing out on such a treat!

  Our trip was fun, a little spooky, and had a lot of history to it. Totally enjoyable and that's not easy to say when you have six teenagers with you.
