With its charming villages perched on rolling hills, surrounded by vineyards and cherry orchards, it has earned the nickname “the Slovenian Tuscany.” This wine and gourmet experience is a full day dedicated to discovering the flavors, traditions, and breathtaking landscapes of Brda—and nobody leaves unimpressed.
Enjoy picturesque villages, historic castles, the famous Wine Fountain, spectacular views from the Gonjače Viewing Tower, and the warm hospitality of the local people. The day also includes a wine tasting at a carefully selected local winery, where you will discover some of the region’s finest wines.

Viticulture and winemaking have a long tradition in the Vipava Valley. No one knows exactly when it all began, but it is said that the Romans brought the vine to these parts.
