What To Expect

We have a captivating private safari to Akagera national park. We pick up from your Hotel/Apartment and we usually depart at 5:00am to the wildlife. Its named for an Akagera river that flows along the eastern boundary and feeds into a labyrinth of lakes. Rolling hills of Acacia bush with panoramic views across scattered grassland ,patches of thick forest and mosaic of swamp -fringed lakes along the meandering Akagera watercourse contribute to this park’s almost unrivalled diversity and scenic beauty . Such a great trip! Serge was an amazing tour guide (and Fabrice a great driver!) Good communication before the trip. Picked us up at our hotel and everything was really easy. We saw 3 of the Big 5, and SO MANY more animals… our favorite was the elephant family!

There are 3 ingredients to a fantastic game experience. 1. The location 2. Luck ( animals) 3. Most importantly the tour guide. All three were present. Fabrice and Serge were absolutely fun. They knew the park, they knew the animals and great company. Saw all big 5 live in the wild .. awesome time

This was an amazing experience, our driver and guide were superb & so knowledgeable. They really made what I hoped would be good experience into a great experience. Would highly recommend & will definitely book with them again if I return to Rwanda.

We enjoyed 3 fantastic days in Akagera with grandparents and little kids. Placide had organized all very well and our driver Isaac was amazing. He managed time well considering the needs of our baby. The team was highly attentive, flexible and motivated to create our great adventure.
