Situated in the heart of the Colorado Rocky Mountains, the Arkansas River threads its way through a vacationer's paradise. From the river's source in the beautiful Arkansas Valley with dramatic 14,000 foot peaks to the bottom of the Royal Gorge, the Arkansas has it all. This trip includes 6 hours of clear, crisp water crashing through the Granite Gorge, a river guide and all boating equipment: rain gear, drinking water and personal floatation device. Lunch is also provided on this full day adventure.

What To Expect
The Browns Canyon National Monument on the Arkansas River is 36 miles of Class III and IV pristine whitewater, making it one of the most popular stretches of whitewater rafting in the country. You will paddle through the pink granite walls and enjoy the class II-III rapids.

5.00Jose was a great guide! He has many years of experience and has been in many rivers around the world. We felt very safe in his care. The lunch was cheaply done. The company needs to improve on the lunch. Sandwich options were peanuy butter and jelly or processed cheap meat (not sure what I had. I was starving.) No beverages, water from the faucet-bad tasting. And 1 small bag of fritos chips with a smaller 1 person size pringles. Would have been nice to have a variety of flavors and drink options.

My partner and I were exceptionally pleased to have been paired with them on our Brown’s Canyon whitewater rafting day trip. As a Colorado resident, I can unreservedly recommend Dvorak Excursions for any river adventure!

5.00Dvorak is "old school" rafting with more experience on the Ark than anyone in the valley. My niece from PA had never rafted before, and my wife was not interested in rafting this trip. We were fortunate that my niece and I were the only 2 scheduled to raft Browns Canyon on an 8:30am 1/2 day trip. It was just us and 2 guides. Awesome morning on the Arkansas River with Dvorak!

5.00We had a great day with Antonio. He was fun to chat with and handled the raft with ease. It was our first time rafting and browns canyon is I believe a class 3 or 4 so there were some gnarly sections but that made it so much more enjoyable. I’m glad they talked us into this trip instead of the easier one we originally booked. They also accommodated us being the only two booked for the 1 time slot which we really appreciated as we drove from Denver for the day. We will be back!!!

5.00Loved every minute of this trip! Our guide (Grace) was knowledgeable and really fun to spend the day with. She made our family of 4 (kids 14 and 16) feel really comfortable the entire time and we had a blast going through the rapids. We would definitely go again!
