  Loolu was super informative, and we had signed up for a full day’s trek but he gave us so much more. We were first brought to a local market, where we had coffee, examined local food and produce, and did some happy purchases. Loolu purchased some items that he mysteriously murmured that will be part of our lunch later, but we remained mainly ignorant. We started the hike after some clear instructions, and he was careful to find out our levels of experience and expectations. He outlined the agenda and timeline, and during the lovely expedition, he showed us amazing local plants and their uses, introduced us to parts of his family that we ran across (3 uncles, his parents, and a number of friendly neighbours) when we realised that he was part of the Karen hill tribe, and was strongly entrenched with his community, When we stopped for lunch, it was a combination of traditional cooking methods such as cooking vermicelli in bamboo hollows and a variety of dishes we had purchased from the market. Everything was organic and presented on banana leaves which was chopped fresh minutes before we started to eat. It was easily one of the best meals that we ever had in Chiangmai. Locally sourced food, produce that we managed to see along the hike, as well as traditional cooking methods that was performed in front of our eyes. Amazing don’t quite just describe it. He had been an amazing guide and went above and beyond to make an exemplary experience!

  The Loolu course was an absolutely magical moment. This 2-day trek allowed us to discover magnificent landscapes, live authentic encounters and dive into the heart of nature, far from the classic tourist circuits. Everything was perfectly organized, with an ideal pace to enjoy every moment. Loolu even threw my daughter's surprise birthday party, right off the bat! And what a cake! All this in the middle of Thai rice fields! Beautiful!!! In addition, there is a real passion and deep respect for nature and local communities, which makes the experience even more valuable.   This was one of the highlights of our trip. Loolu was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. He thought us about native plants and about agriculture in the area. We enjoyed lunch near the rice field which was delicious. We learned a lot and enjoyed a challenging trek.

  Superb day spent with friends with Loolu in the mountain near Chang Mai. Temples, young monks, walk next to elephants to the river, bamboo rafting, thank you for everything 👍 We recommend!

  We had a wonderful trekking tour with piroon trekking! Our three-day-trip included trekking to a waterfall, two rural tribes, walking on rice terraces, feeding and spending time with an elephant (really happy about the elephant’s living conditions) and a tour on a bamboo-raft. Especially great were the local guides and the personell at the guest house. They also went out of there way for us to prepare (super delicious) veggie food.   Fantastic day with Loolu Tours!! We were only in family (3 persons) for the day. Ross our guide, was very nice and explained us everything. He made our day unbelievable. I recommended !!!

  I did the trek with Loolu Tour over two days"2 days 1 night Eco Trek”. During these two days, we passed through places and paths where we did not meet any other group of hikers. We also crossed rice fields or fruit and vegetable fields (garlic, strawberries...) in which the farmers worked, respecting their work and the plantations. We discovered magnificent landscapes: waterfalls, mountains, fields… We spent the night in a small Karen village, local people were of absolute kindness. The food was natural and excellent during this trek. The organization was perfect, our guide who took care of us during this whole trek (his name is CHAT) was perfect, he was available and answered all our questions, efficient and very kind, he was full of energy and joyful. After this superb experience, I highly recommend Loolu Tour for trekking if you are passing through Chiang Mai.

  Kindness, professionalism and punctuality! Everything for wonderful memories of this truly unforgettable day, not like my wallet that we are spread out to pick up at night in a temple next to the Karen tribe of loolu and that by miracle a monk had found! Unforgettable, really. An essential agency for your outings in Chiang Mai!! 5 stars 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟
