What To Expect
Shiga Kogen
Arrive at one of the ski resorts (Including Shiga Kogen) chosen by our staff based on the snow condition of the day. Our staff member will distribute and activate your lift passes, and help you unload equipment from the bus, and point out any necessary information. Those who booked lessons will move with the our staff member to the reception office for the ski school. Those who did not book lessons can go to the slopes as they wish.

5.00We did the ski tour with Shawn, he was a great guide. Very knowledgeable and a great person to chat too. We also had Mr Fujisawa as a driver, he was great, the ride was smooth and my kids that get motion sickness experienced none of that even on the windy roads.

5.00Kevin was so considerate and was very attentive to ensure that everyone was ok throughout the day. Kevin even came to check up on us on the mountain. He was great when our bindings needed adjusting waiting till we were eating lunch so it didn't affect our ski time. I couldn't praise him more. This is our 3rd tour with company and everytime has been great. Thoroughly recommend the business.

5.00What a lovely day on the slopes. We were very lucky to get a bluebird day. The tour guide was a nice lady. She made sure we were all getting looked after. All the snow gear supplied was very good too.

5.00I had an amazing 2-day ski trip with Snow Monkey Resorts. From start to finish, everything was very well organized, which made the whole experience smooth and stress-free. I decided to switch from snowboarding to skiing on the second day, and they handled it effortlessly, making sure everything was arranged without any issues. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout the trip. A special thank you to our guides, Orlando and Joyce — they truly made the experience unforgettable. They were professional, fun, and made sure we had a great time both days. I highly recommend Snow Monkey Resorts for anyone looking for a well-run and enjoyable ski experience.

5.00We did the full day with lesson ski trip, I have gone skiing a few times as a kid and my partner hadn’t skied at all since today. The pickup was super straightforward and the rental gear was very comfortable. Joyce was so kind and friendly and took the time to teach us a bit about Japan and really broke the ice for the tour group. The lesson Harrison gave us was amazing, he really made us feel confident and comfortable!! Overall this was a great way to spend a day skiing where we didn’t need to organise rentals, passes and transport ourselves and I would recommend to anyone visiting Japan!!

5.00The 1 Day Ski Monkeys Resort all inclusive ski day with lesson was a fantastic experience from start to finish. We were meet promptly by our guide Orlando at the station and we're soon fitted out with all our gear, which was excellent quality. We were transported to the ski resort on a very comfortable bus, driven skillful by the driver, particularly on the return trip during heavy snow. We took the 2 hour lesson and were then confident enough to go it alone for the remainder of the day (3.5 hours). Orlando continued to check in on us when in the lodge and even secured seats for us to eat lunch😀. Overall would definitely recommend.

5.00We booked the one day ski tour from Nagano. Everything went perfectly smooth, from fitting our equipment for the day (helmet, ski, jacket) to the bus transfer and our actuall time in the ski resort Shiga Kogen. Our guide Nadine did a wonderfull job in explaining everything important and also some landmarks we passed. She also was available the whole day at the ski resort for further questions or help. With that in mind we could fully enjoy the day and snow. Thank you Snow Monkeys!

5.00We had an amazing time skiing with Snow Monkey Resorts! They made it so easy! They provided all equipment, clothing, transportation and tickets. It saved us from packing a suitcase (or two)! They provided ski pants, coats, boots, gloves, helmet, goggles, skis, poles, and lift tickets! We had a great time! Instead of a one-day ski tour, we did two days!

5.00The experience was perfect. Even though the weather played bad tricks with a little too much rain, our guide was very careful and pampered us throughout our excursion. Lunch was superb and delicious. I was apprehensive because very often in this kind of excursion you are taken to very touristic dining places that lack charm, but there on the contrary the place is beautiful and the cuisine really delicious.
