Absolutely brilliant day. The today is stunning. We were super lucky to get a clear day so views were amazing. I love a cave, the last bit, part 3 has some steep old steps but anyone with a moderate walking ability should manage parts 1 and 2 easily. Hida village is very cute too some lovely picture opportunities. Would definitely recommend this trip and Yoshi our guide was great, very knowledgeable and great sense of humour. Thank you Yoshi!

This was a great tour to finish our time in Japan. Our guide Yogi was very informative and took care of everyone in the group. We visited the old village and then the limestone caves which were great. The highlight was definitely the ropeway up through The Alps. Despite the weather obstructing the views it was still spectacular to see all the snow still falling in Spring.

We had a spare day on our group tour of Japan so decided to venture further from Takayama. Our guide Yoshi was a wealth of knowledge and changed the order of the tour to suit weather conditions. This enabled us to take the ropeway to the top and take in magnificent views and walk through the heavily laden snow path. The visit to the caves was great but included a lot of stairs, some steep. Something to bear in mind if stairs are an issue for you. Last stop was the enchanting Hida Folk Village - a marvellous step back in time. My husband and I learnt more about Japan in one day from Yoshi than we have learnt from our current group tour guide in a week. Mini bus was comfortable and very clean. Thoroughly recommend this tour.

The guides were fun to talk to and gave information not just about the places we visited but also other recommendations etc, which is very helpful. They didn't feel a lot like guides, but like any other person you can chat with. The places we visited were peaceful, scenic and enjoyable. Much was learnt from this tour. I really like the calming, friendly environment from this tour :)
