Our nearly two week trip to Tibet in October-November 2025 was absolutely amazing! The scenery, the monasteries, the culture, the people — all were new and beautiful to us! Our guide James explained so many things about Tibetan Buddhism and culture, both past and present. Under his tutelage within a couple of days we could enter a temple and identify a good number of the deities inside. James’ extensive knowledge of Tibetan Buddhism, learned both from growing up in Tibet and from several years of study under a Tibetan monk, coupled with his passion and excitement so evident as he told us of the deities, history and traditions, made the experience especially rich for us. His faith is a central part of his life. At every temple he sang, prayed and made offerings. Soon we were doing the same. At the Everest base camp, James arranged for a cake to be brought up the mountain to celebrate the birthday of one member of our group. He is also an expert artist and calligrapher and created a beautifully illustrated scroll he presented to our birthday boy. James and our driver were a wonderful pair who looked after us every step of the way; they anticipated our needs and kept us safe and happy. We look forward to returning to Tibet someday…and having James as our guide again.

Our 13 days in Tibet were truly wonderful. We enjoyed both the vibrant atmosphere of Lhasa and the charm of the more remote villages. Experiencing the Everest Base Camp and the magic of Mount Kailash was absolutely unforgettable. Overall, the itinerary was well planned, and the hotels were comfortable, although some of the overland drives were quite long. Our guide, Lhakpa Tenzin, was exceptionally kind and always took the time to explain everything with great detail. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to discover the beauty and spirituality of Tibet.

I am very glad that I chose Tibet Vista Co. for my trip to Tibet. From the first contact they had very profesional attitude and comunication. Everything I wated to know they would answer in very short period of time, so my decision about such a large trip was much more easy and less complicated. I am a mountaineer and a mountain guide and from the beginning of communication with T.V. manager I saw that the itinerary of the trip and also acclimatization plan for the climb on more than 5600m above sea level was very knowledgeable and professionally made and organised. In addition, the guide, Mr Dorjee that I was lucky to get, is not only very expirienced and professional, but also is personally motivated and eager to provide clients with more than expected or what is in the program. His guiding style gave the entire group a sense of security but also a sense of freedom. It is also thank to him, that our international, intercontinental and multigenerational group stayed united from beginning to the end and also, very successful in program that is usually demanding and difficult for many. I had a lot of luck with the group, they are all wonderful and inspiring people. Also, our bus driver, Mr Sangye was the joy of the group, always in a good mood and very encouraging. I definitely recommend Tibet Vista agency and their guides. I will certainly come again and bring my friends. Thank you!

I recently returned from a 13-day trip through Tibet and it was one of the most incredible and special experiences of my life. The landscapes, culture and people of Tibet are incredible diverse and capturing . The destination is truly one of a kind. But what made this journey truly special was my guide, Tashi Phunsok. Tashi impressed me with his exceptional knowledge of the country, its traditions and everyday life. His friendly and kind personality made each day of the journey even better! Throughout the journey Tashi was always there to support me whenever I faced difficulties. His patience and constant readiness helped me to feel comfortable and safe at all times. I will always remember Tibet as the most breathtaking destination and for all the hospitality and friendly people I met along my journey. Thank you Tashi and Tibet Vista for making this journey one of the most beautiful and memorable experiences of my life!

The trip itself was truly amazing — the nature, culture, and food were all wonderful. However, the pace of the journey felt too intense for us. We understand that, given the geographical dispersion, long bus rides are unavoidable, but it left little time for rest and proper acclimatization. Our guide, Tseyang, was very open to accommodating additional stops requested by the group, and together with our Polish group leader, was extremely supportive in helping us get medical assistance when my husband fell ill. That said, I believe that the trek around Mount Kailash may not be the best choice for a first high-altitude experience. Despite preparing carefully and bringing medication, we found it too demanding and had to skip some activities in order to rest. Overall, though, we are left with an amazing impression of the trip and are very grateful for the experiences we had.

I had a wonderful experience thanks to our amazing guide kunchok. He was incredibly polite, kind, and always made sure everyone in the group was comfortable. He went above and beyond to help with translations and was always just a call away whenever anyone needed anything. He made the entire trip ( Lhasa to Kathmandu) feel safe, smooth, and enjoyable. I would absolutely love to have him as my guide again if I ever travel to Mt Kailash in the future. Truly a pleasure to have him with us!

Kuncho was our tour guide for a journey from Lhasa to Kathmandu, and he made the experience truly unforgettable. From the very beginning, he treated us like family — always attentive, caring, and ensuring that every member of the group felt comfortable and supported. His knowledge of Tibetan history and culture was outstanding, and he patiently translated, explained, and answered all our questions, giving us a much deeper appreciation of each place we visited. He supported everyone during the Kora and everyone in our group was able to complete their Kora due to Kuncho's support. It was a bittersweet moment when we had to part ways in Kathmandu, as his presence was deeply missed. This was my second tour with Tibet Vista, and I can confidently say that both the company and guides like Kuncho are exceptional. I look forward to returning next year and am genuinely excited to travel with Kuncho again. I wholeheartedly recommend Tibet Vista and Kuncho to anyone looking for a professional, knowledgeable, and truly caring guide who will make your trip a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
