Guernsey
Discover the coastal areas of the stunning islands of Herm and Jethou, just 3 miles away from St Peter Port, Guernsey. Sail across the Little Russel towards Herm and Jethou and be transported into crystal clear waters and experience sandy white beaches which could easily be confused for the Caribbean. Be sure to keep your eyes peeled for dolphins, seals and puffins, as well as plenty of other marine wildlife. This 1.5hr cruise sails along the south and east coasts of Herm via Puffin Bay, Putrainez, Belvoir Bay and Shell Beach. You will also pass close to the private island of Jethou and, with a bit of luck, may even witness the private helicopter up on the helipad.

1.00We were so disappointed. They cancelled the trip but didn't let us know. We stood waiting and eventually someone else said that the trip was not going. No message from the company. Very poor customer service!
Cancelled on us twice in August. Not reliable.

1.00In August cancelled a few hours before departure, this happened twice, sea conditions were NOT the reason. 1st was staff sickness, 2nd was operational issues. I am now waiting on £100 refund for 2 cancelled trips. So don't bank on them operating in peak season.

5.00We had a very enjoyable boat trip the views were stunning saw lots of puffins at the back of Herm will go again next year crew were friendly. only one small item we sat on side by wheel house and could not hear the commentary but didn't spoil our trip

5.00We did the Herm & Jethou Island cruise today, also known as the Puffin Explorer. The weather was perfect, warm & sunny and the sea was kind to us. We were looked after by Les & Dale on the beautiful wooden boat “Glad Tidings”. As we sailed around the back of Herm we were treated with seeing a large number of Puffins in the water and the boat managed to get quite close on a number of occasions. No dolphins or seals today, but it was a fantastic trip and highly recommended.

5.00Smooth Sea , Gently wind on the evening we went . The boat made it's way through exiting narrow gaps to the South East of Herm and round to Puffin Bay , in and out the rocks and found puffins .Those on the water easy enough to spot but with the sun in your eyes not so easy to see those on land . Then to the north and a long sandy beach every bit as good as the Scilly Isles . Disappointingly instead of continuing our circumnavigation we turned around and came back via the south of Jethou . Would have liked to go right round and look into the harbour and anchorage on the west of the island and hear some more about the island . These days a large daylight viewable TV towards the bows showing the chart plotter output is not that expensive and would have added to our understanding of the skippers experience in and out of the reefs :-) :-)

4.00Enjoyed the boat trip seeing the different Islands close up and we saw quite a few puffins at the back of Herm. Staff were helpful and plenty of room to move around on the boat to get the best views. Only downside just thought it was a tad expensive for what it was but apart from that it was a good boat trip.
Plenty of puffins and loads of cormorants too.

5.00Ona sunny May evening we headed out to see the puffins on this tour of Herm and Jethou. The crew were really helpful and patient as we boarded and gave a great commentary of the area as we headed out of St Peter Port. They were also really helpful at pointing out the puffins and cormorants that were enjoying the evening sun and calm waters. We were able to stop so we could get some good photos and enjoy watching them. The boat was ideal, low enough in the water but also bet east to move about to get the best view. Thank you for a great evening

5.00Took this cruise on 15/05/25. Lovely views of Herm jethou. Even the puffins came out to say hello 👋. Was a great trip well commentate on by crew who were so helpful getting people on and off boat.I would recommend any of these trips to anyone one not to be missed 5*.

4.00Pleasant boat trip. Boat had 40 persons on board so busy. We saw four puffins swimming nearby in the sea but none nesting on land
