  We had a fantastic experience on the boat trip with local wine and food tasting! The atmosphere was incredibly cozy – relaxed, authentic and with the most beautiful view from the water. The food was delicious and the wines perfectly matched the dishes. Martha and her husband, who owns the small company, made the experience very special. They were so welcoming, present and passionate about what they do that it all felt very familiar. You could really feel that they are going to give guests a personal and memorable experience. All in all a super nice day – can be highly recommended to anyone who wants an authentic and cozy experience with good food, wine and top-class hospitality!

  This was definitely one of the highlights of our recent trip to Puerto de Mogan. Ruben and Marta were the perfect hosts , full of enthusiasm . Their passion for what they do was infectious. The boat trip was ideal as it stays close enough to the shore that there wasn't too much rocking and it was very comfortable for everyone, while Ruben imparted his abundance of knowledge about the local areas . The food and wine experience was wonderful , and we all were amazed by the way flavours change when different foods and wine were put together. It really was a 10/10 experience for us and one we would love to do again when we return. Well done to ye both on putting together that's a little bit different and very special.

  Great experience with Ruben and Marta. Lovely couple who provided such a nice day out along the coast of Gran Canaria. Such a great service and made you feel welcome. We have found a new love for Chorizo de teror which we have been eating everyday since.

  The tour is a really nice experience. You can tell that Marta and Ruben love to do their work and enjoy it. Everything was great from the welcome to the farewell. The one-hour boat trip by the sea is beautiful and different things are explained by Ruben. The subsequent tasting of local delicacies, with wine accompaniment are also top.   We came across this boat tour by chance and can say at the end that it is even one of our highlights of the trip! Ruben and Marta are very friendly hosts and have created a great atmosphere on the boat. Tasting, as well as exploring the coast were a lot of fun and educational at the same time and since Ruben took pictures for us, we could fully enjoy it. A very entertaining exploration of Gran Canaria, which we would book again next time!

  An absolutely fantastic trip with Marta and Ruben on The Yellow Boat. Ruben is an amazing excellent guide with his knowledge of the island and coast line and Marta the experienced skipper. The food and wine tasting was a revelation, the wines paired so well with the food, they enhanced and changed flavours. A really enjoyable trip and a marvellous introduction to wines and foods of the Canaries.

  This is a great trip. An hour cruising along the coast, with lots of interesting information about the area, followed by two hours of local food and wine pairing. Ruben was really good at explaining everything and answering questions. Everything about it was excellent, from the spotless boat to the friendliness and helpfulness of our hosts, and the quality of the food and drink. Would highly recommend!

  Ruben and Marta have only been running this food and wine experience since January, although they've been running snorkeling trips off their boat for eight years so know the coastline and the historical and geographical facts associated with it really well. Marta skippered the boat and we were at sea for around an hour. Back in the calm of Puerto de Mogan harbour, Ruben presented a selection of delicious appetisers, cheeses and desserts, each accompanied by a perfectly selected wine. All food and wine was from the Canaries and Ruben was very passionate and knowledgeable. There were only 3 of us on the trip, but their very comfortable boat has ample room for many more. I hope this review goes some way to fill those spaces. They deserve it. A delightful experience which I thoroughly recommend. Thank you so much Ruben and Marta
