This tour goes for 2 ¼ hours. It takes 15 minutes to get out there on a fast, fun speed boat with maximum of 14 people, snorkel for 1.5 hrs at our exclusive mooring located at Low Isles reef, one of just a few exclusive permits allowed to enter this WORLD HERITAGE green zone sensitive site. Then a 15 minute trip home.
The reef that we visit on Option A is very protected and has a vast quantity of corals and abundant fish species, with green turtles . On this tour there is no island access, you snorkel from the back of the boat. We own two exclusive permits right on the reef edge that allows just our 2 Reef Sprinter boats to visit this reef meaning there are no crowds at all!
See spectacular corals, turtles, and fish life only 15 minutes from Port Douglas and you won’t get seasick.

What To Expect

You then snorkel for an hour and a half off the back of the boat at our exclusive mooring located at Low Isles reef,(There is no Island access on this tour option. One of just a few exclusive permits allowed to enter this WORLD HERITAGE green zone sensitive site. Then a 15 min trip home. The reef that we visit on Option A is very protected and has a vast quantity of quality corals and abundant fish species, with green turtles swimming nearby in the clear Coral Sea. On this tour you don’t go onto the island, you snorkel from the back of the boat. We own two exclusive permits right on the reef edge that allows just our 2 Reef Sprinter boats to visit this reef meaning there are no crowds at all! Only 15 mins from Port Douglas and you won’t get seasick. If it is windy, Reef Sprinter can be an exciting boat ride that may not be suitable for the frail or elderly or people with bad backs, bad necks or who are pregnant.

5.00This was absolutely fabulous. Wonderful staff who are knowledgable, easy going, have a great sense of humour and care that you have the best possible experience. The ride to the reef on the speed boat is an attraction on its own. The guys on the boat went to great effort to look for the turtles for us to see and to help the non-swimmers see everthing those who can swim did. They give everyone a pool noodle so it is relaxing to float around and see the colourful delights of the reef. We will go back and do this again and wouldn't dream of going with any other company. 100% recommended.

5.00We chose this tour as my partner usually gets seasick - the jet sprinter was great and no nausea at all! Jason was a great host and very knowledgeable. All the gear supplied was good quality. Visibility wasn’t the best the day we went out, but we still saw lots of tropical fish, a small shark and some in the group saw turtles. Would definitely recommend this to anyone e who doesn’t have time to get to the outer reef or who can’t do the longer boat ride due to sickness.

5.00We definitely enjoyed this experience no sea sickness as the boat ride was so fast getting there and the water was so clear, the guides were great Matt gave lots of info on the Low Isles and there were so many beautiful fish there, definitely worth the money the place is beautiful if u are looking to snorkel this is definitely the place to go

5.00Great for intermediate onwards swim strengths. After doing outer rim with large mob, this is 2nd time and wouldn't do any other way. Great crew both times, turtles first time, lots of fish and was great to be able to see the reef rejunivating after 2024 flood of freshwater. Rate this mob highly. Please when doing this swim listen to the crew at all time, our reefs and marine animals depend on it, as does your own life. If you are not sure of what has been directed please ask for clarification, the crews are awesome and need you to understand.
