Akagera National Park

Our experienced tour driver and guide will you Pick up at your place at 5:00 am. Depart from Kigali by 5:30 am. It's approximately a 3 hours’ drive from Kigali to Akagera National Park. Have breakfast enroute. Arrive at Akagera National Park , Pay entry fee and start your game drive. Enjoy a 6-hour game drive to explore the wildlife and landscapes of the park. Akagera National Park is known for its diverse wildlife, including Lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, and various antelope species. Around 2:00 pm, take a break for lunch at a lodge or picnic area within the park. Allocate about 30 minutes for lunch. Board the boat at around 3pm and set off on the scenic waters of Lake Ihema. Enjoy views of the surrounding landscapes and wildlife. Look out for birds, including pelicans and kingfishers. Possible sightings of hippos and other wildlife along the shores. In the evening go to the hotel, have dinner and rest for the night.

In the morning, have breakfast at the hotel. Check out the hotel and head back to Kigali. Visit Imigongo Art center on your way back to Kigali, you will stop by at this Art center to appreciate art work and other Rwandan handiwork.
