Iguazu Falls is an amazing place, and I could not have been more pleased with this tour. It was so well-organized, and Viator's local operator made sure that it was a seamless experiences. They kept me updated on transfers via What's App, and when my flight was delayed so long that I would miss the tour of the Brazil side, they arranged a private tour for a very reasonable price. To make sure I arrived by the last entry at 4 pm, they used two drivers - one in Argentina, and the other in Brazil - to expedite the border crossings. The driver's personal connections in Brazil made sure that we didn't even have to stop! When I joined the group portion of the tour the next day, the local guide was outstanding and made it very easy to add on the Great Adventure. I know that there are a lot of negative reviews of the hotel online. Yes, it is a little worn. But it is clean, and the beds are comfortable. The hotel staff is incredibly friendly, too.

Trip was well organised and the team were very friendly. The falls were stunning and I'm glad to have seen them from both sides. I'd recommend staying on the Brazilian side if you prefer a bigger town (more restaurants and shops close to the hotel). I'd also recommend packing something dry to change into plus a hairbrush if you are doing the Gran Adventure Boat Ride (optional extra) and flying back to Buenos Aires on the same day. You will get soaked - some people on the Gran Adventure changed into swim wear, which, if you have the body confidence to do, is a good option too.

Good tour guide Rodolfo in Iguazu. Accommodation good on the Argentinian side. Flights with Areolinius Argentina are unreliable with our return flight delayed for over four hours and your rushed to get to the airport early to see if there was an earlier option. The pickup at airport back to hotel did not happen. Driver said he was at the terminal but after two slow checks of all holding signs clear they were not there.

Great tour. Great guide. Pajaro. Very entertaining. Soaked by the rain on first day. Soaked by the waterfalls 2nd day. All par for the course. Luckily our hotel in Brazil was a good class and we got the chance to dry our clothes. We then had a change of clothes for the flight home. We even got upgraded to business which was a bonus.

We HAVE NOT actually gone yet. We booked and paid for a trip Feb/Mar 2026 and have been reaching out to the company to get confirmations and flight info etc so we can book the rest of our trip. Absolute silence! After more than 6 weeks of no response to our queries, I'm only writing here to see if the tripadvisor community has any information on this tour company. The reviews seem good, but now we are wondering if it's a scam. I'm about to contact Amex to refute the charge. Before I do that, I'm hoping the company might read this and respond. We totally want to do the excursions (ours includes the eco lodge)

  • Iguaza Falls

Seeing Iguazu Falls was the main reason I traveled to Argentina. Sol Iguazu and our tour guide made it all worth it. Our guide for the tour and all the other Sol Iguazu staff were polite, helpful and responsive. Our guide went above and beyond to make sure we saw everything and were comfortable and prepared everything. He was also knowledgeable and answered questions in detail and good English. I would definitely recommend Sol Iguazu to other travelers. Viator, on the other hand, I will never use again and will not recommend them. Their web site is NOT user friendly and impossible to navigate. The people you talk to on the phone are nice enough but either don't understand what you are saying or don't know what they doing. I clearly stated that I did not have a visa for Brazil and, therefore, could not go on a tour that included the Brazil side of the Falls. The rep sold me a two-day tour that he said would not include Brazil. When we got there we realized the tour did include Brazil and so we spent the day in the hotel. That might not have been so bad, except the hotel was out in the middle of nowhere so there was no town to explore or any where to walk to sites. Also, the hotel was very low quality. Their idea of a restaurant was a buffet serving very poor quality food. We could have done a one-day tour and saved money and time. On the bright side, the driver they sent to take us to the airport and back to our hotel after the tour was excellent. Friendly, helpful, on time and courteous. It was so nice to see a recognizable face coming out of the airport after a long day!

A great experience from beginning to end. Drivers were on time and flights were smooth both ways, plus the hotel Exe Catarataes was a great place to rest in between visiting both sides of Iguazu Falls. Tour guide was wonderful and it was an adventure all should do if in the region.

the weather messed everything up, flight delays to the point that we missed our entire first day. Driver who m et us spoke not one word of English so we had no idea what to do when to be anyplace etc etc. He literally "dropped" us at the hotel 9very nice hotel Argentina side, The American Hotel). We had no direction or any idea what the new sequence of our tour would be. It was an entire day of delay and frustration from lack of communication albeit they had my cell and text.
