The Tigre Delta Tour includes navigation through the beautiful Tigre River Delta in a Premium boat, choose between a 2-hour boat ride covering the North of Buenos Aires continuing through the 'Delta': a series of narrow channels and islands; or a 1-hour navigation by the beautiful previously mentioned Tigre's Delta.

After arriving at Tigre have an optional Empandas snack in a local and elegant restaurant of the city continuing with Victorica Avenue: get to know the coastal walk that borders the Luján River to reach the elegant gardens that surround the headquarters of the Tigre Deliberative Council and the Tigre Art Museum.

What To Expect

Delta El Tigre

After pickup at 9am, head to the city’s port to board a first-class motor launch which will take you to the Tigre Delta. During the 1.5-hour trip, admire Buenos Aires from the Rio de la Plata (River Plate), its northern areas and the channels of the Delta, while enjoying refreshments on board.

Enjoy a snack at Vivanco restaurant trying some hand-made empanadas. Be welcome to a sensory, friendly, fresh and natural environment located within one of the emblematic rowing clubs of the city of Tigre.

Must see Tiger Delta. It's interesting to see people who live in the Delta, how they commute from one place to the other, you see trees, plants, birds and others in the area. Beautiful, love it.
Interesting trip to a less well known corner of BA. Well run.

Excellent throughout - Alejandro was a superb guide. Pick up exactly on time, tour was terrific. The “snack” was much better than expected. Excellent value for money and a great way to spend a day in BA.

The tour company picked up us at our hotel. After picking up other guests at other hotels, we were on our way. We were almost out of Buenos Aires when the tour guide got a call indicating that two other guests were still waiting to be picked up at their hotel, so we had to double back to BA which cost us about 30 minutes. The tour consists of basically three parts: 1) the bus ride to/from Tigre. 2) A boat ride among the islands. 3) Time spent in the Tigre market area (about 30 minutes). The bus ride to/from BA to Tigre was minimally interesting. The tour guide could have provided much more information during the hour-long drive. The boat ride was not the smaller old wooden boats you see in the pictures, but a large modern ship that probably held about 100 people (not just our tour group). At least the air conditioning was appreciated. The boat tour audio was prerecorded and we could barely hear it over the din of other passengers' talking. The boat tour was not as scenic as led to believe. The market was probably the most interesting aspect of the trip, but we only got to spend 30 minutes there, when an hour would have been much more useful. All-in-all, the tour was not worth the better part of a day.

Informative and fun tour with our guide Victoria and driver Matthias. We were picked up from our hotel, learned great info on the way to Tigre, around that area, and our way back. Boat tour had indoor and outdoor seating with snacks and beverages available for purchase. Got picked up at 8:30 and drop off at 2:30 pm. Fun way to see an area outside the city.

We had a wonderful tour with Victoria as our guide and Mattias as our driver. Very informative and welcoming! Tigre was a nice visit with little shops and places to eat.
