Begin your journey as your driver picks you up from your Amman hotel or directly from the airport. Travel south along the scenic Desert Highway toward Petra, one of the New Seven Wonders of the World. With your local guide (unless otherwise noted), enter through the narrow Siq to behold the breathtaking Treasury (Al-Khazneh). Explore the royal tombs, temples, and ancient façades carved into rose-red sandstone cliffs that reveal the glory of the Nabatean civilization. Afterward, continue to the enchanting Wadi Rum Desert, also known as the Valley of the Moon. 5.00It was a truly wonderful experience! We went to Petra in the morning, when there weren't many people, and the desert night was spectacular for the sunset. The next day, we went to the Red Sea as an additional, and we finished the day in the Dead Sea! Our guide and driver were fantastic; they gave us a wealth of historical and cultural knowledge about Jordan.
