5:00 am. Your driver/guide will pick you up at the location of your choice for the drive to the park. Take in the African dawn as the surrounding fields come alive. We’ll pause in our travels for a breakfast break in the town of Narok. Moving on, we’ll pass homesteads and perhaps some Maasai herdsmen along the way, wrapped in their bright-colored shukas. Expect to arrive at the park around 10:30 am. Take in the park’s vast expanse, with its rolling hills and savannahs. This is one of the richest eco-systems in the world, holding an amazing variety of wildlife. Your days here will be filled with game drives, tracking the big cats plus elephant, leopard, buffalo, giraffe, and plenty more – over 95 mammals make their home here. Lunch will be picnic style down at the Mara River. This is where innumerable herds cross during the season of the Great Migration. After more afternoon game drives, you’ll freshen up at your Safari lodge, then enjoy dinner and the evening’s activities.

After a leisurely breakfast at your lodge/camp, your dedicated driver guide will assist you with the checkout process and proceed to Nairobi – Kenya’s colorful capital city. On the way, your guide will point out the Longonot extinct volcano which is a strato volcano located southeast of Lake Naivasha in the Great Rift Valley of Kenya. It is thought to have last erupted in the 1860s and its name is derived from the Maasai word Oloonong’ot, meaning “mountains of many spurs” or “steep ridges “. You can opt to drive via Naivasha for lunch/excursions at an extra cost or drive straight to Nairobi and pass by Kiambethu farm for the tea farm tour inclusive of a three-course buffet lunch (at an extra cost) OR drive straight back to the capital and later transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International airport for your back home.

The two-day trip was great! The guide is always cheerful and very efficient in finding the animals. We saw lions, elephants, giraffes all up close. Accommodation and food were better than expected. This is the perfect tour to experience Masai Mara in less time. Highly Recommended!

This safari experience was absolutely world-class. The facility is well-maintained, and the program is very well organized. Beyond just watching the animals, listening to the keeper's detailed stories made the experience much more immersive. The proximity to the animals was breathtaking; I could see every detail up close. Even though it was busy, the admission process was smooth and professional. It was a perfect time to relax and enjoy nature. Five stars aren’t enough

I booked this 2-day private Masai Mara tour to surprise my daughter Yllena Berisha on her 16th birthday. I told Africa Kenya Safaris and they made all the arrangements. When the car arrived from Nairobi, Yllena had no idea where we were going. Her eyes were amazing when we entered the Masai Mara! On the first game drive, we saw elephants, giraffes, zebras, and then lions – all at once! Guide James was incredibly patient, answering every “what is that?” question Yllena had. As soon as we reached the camp, we saw a banner and cake reading “Happy 16th Birthday Yllena” in front of the tent! At night, Maasai warriors came and performed a traditional dance, and Yllena put a Maasai necklace around her neck. My daughter cried with joy. On the second morning, we visited Maasai village. Thank you Tim.

Our two-day private safari from Nairobi to the Masai Mara was an absolutely amazing experience. At the beginning, the pickup was on time, the car was comfortable, and the guide told us about the stories of the place and the animals as we went along the road. On reaching Masai Mara we saw lions, elephants, zebras, giraffes and innumerable wildebeests. The guide was very good at finding animals. Watching the sunset on the banks of the Mara River in the afternoon was one of the most beautiful moments. The meals were tasty and the lodging was tidy and cozy. This short safari has left us with many beautiful memories.

We had only booked a two-day trip, so I didn't think we'd see much. But Africa Kenya Safaris gave us an experience beyond our expectations. Guide Paul is very knowledgeable and excellent at finding animals. He gave us the opportunity to see cheetahs and lions hunting. After the evening, sitting next to the campfire, they saw the sky full - a magical experience in a word. This 2-day tour is perfect for those who can't make a long trip due to lack of time.

Our 2-day private safari to Masai Mara was short but filled with marvelous moments. It wasn’t just a safari, it was a quiet conversation with nature. We traveled deep into golden grasslands where giraffes moved like shadows and elephants passed like ancient memories. Our private guide led us off the beaten track, where we found a cheetah on a morning hunt—focused, graceful, and gone in a flash. Later, we watched lion cubs play under their mother’s gaze, while a storm brewed silently in the distant sky. It felt like we were not just seeing wildlife, but stepping into their world-briefly, respectfully. The Africa Kenya Safari team was very helpful, friendly, punctual and hospitable.

I never thought I would see so much in just two days! We left Nairobi in a private jeep in the morning, and went on a game drive in the Masai Mara shortly after noon. I was amazed to see lions and elephants right in front of my eyes! The guide was very patient and experienced. Although it was a short tour, it was absolutely complete.

Our trip to Masai Mara National reserve was the best. The day started well with our pickup guide Humphrey arriving even earlier than expected. He was an easy guy who got along well with everyone and made our whole trip worthwhile. He was also very knowledgeable about game drive and made every effort to spot all the big five animals with ease. It was just fun and many thanks to Humphrey. For our stay we were booked at Mara Engai Lodge where again everything met our expectations, the staff were very hospitable, Meals were superb, and accommodation was great . My family even got an opportunity for evening Masai dance experience. I would highly recommend Africa Kenya Safari for anyone looking for a wonderful Safari experience.

Far more awesome than expected. Easy to arrange and pay for the tour. Mary from Africa Kenya Safaris was wonderful. Vehicle well equipped and clean. Jagero our guide was attentive to our needs, drove the difficult roads and traffic expertly. On safari he located so many different groups of animals and spent appropriate time with them Gave great photo opportunities. Meals were well catered. Our overnite accommodation and meals was mindblowing and memorable.
