Meet your driver/guide and depart from your hotel around 6am. Drive North, along the main highway towards Nairobi, following the route of the railway line built by the British, late in the nineteenth century. The road passes through the warehouses and workshops on the outskirts of Mombasa, climbing steadily and soon the vast plains of Tsavo become visible in the distance, with the rolling Taita Hills on the horizon. Enter Ngutuni Sanctuary for a game drive which borders with Tsavo East National Park. Lunch at Ngutuni Lodge overlooking a waterhole. Afternoon proceed to the Taita Hills Sanctuary arriving at the Salt Lick Lodge, built on stilts overlooking a waterhole where animals come to drink. Around 4pm proceed on a game drive that beholds captivating views of the Taita Hills. The Sanctuary hosts varied species of birds and animals that include Lions, Elephants, Giraffe and Zebras returning to the lodge for dinner.
Ngutuni Lodge is located 15 minutes from Tsavo east main gate and 1hr from Tsavo west and Taita Hills. Ngutuni is one of the lodges situated in the land of history where the European army camped during the construction of the Kenya Uganda railway where many locals and Indians were eaten by the man-eaters of tsavo but the lodge has finally converted the guns into cameras.

We did 3 days of Safari, accompanied by Omar, which made everything more special and authentic! He accompanied us on this wonderful Safari, he was determined and stubborn, he did everything to make us see the felines and animals in general (lion, lioness, cheetah, hyenas with cubs, giraffes, elephants and many others)! He never just showed them to us, he gave us a lot of information and explanations about them. He is an experienced and charismatic guide! He took 3 pairs of strangers and made them a united group in exploring the parks of East Tsavo, Amboseli and Tahita Hills. Thanks for the Dawa drinks!

It was an unforgettable experience! Our SALIM guide was a real surprise! A 360-degree guide, who accompanied and rocked us with dedication and with so much passion in this experience. An exceptional driver with a great ability to spot animals in the distance as if he had two binoculars for his eyes! You can tell he's been doing it for so many years! As he told us, the safari is not only true animals but is the JOURNEY. And for us it was a beautiful trip especially thanks to him! THANK YOU SALIM!!! Jambo Jambo Hakuna Matata

Between the notes of jambo, hakuna matata and pole pole, Salim welcomed us in his jeep and made us live an unforgettable experience. With patience, passion and joy it allowed us to discover the colors, sounds, animals that are part of the natural heart of Kenya. From wonderful elephants, to lions and lionesses, giraffes, and an expanse of zebras has allowed us to learn about the beauty of this world. Thank you Salim for the wonderful welcome in this country that has left an imprint in the hearts of all of us.

Our guide Tarzan was the best, He responded to all our wishes, explained everything to us and answered all questions in both German and English. We have seen numerous animals on the safari tour including giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, elephants, serval cats, several lions, gazelles, We will certainly do this safari a second time... But only with Tarzan Petra and Frank (the real Jane and the Lion Sifter)

Tour booked from Italy: 3 nights in Tsavo West, Amboseli and Taita Hills parks. It was a breathtaking experience .. and in all of this Omar deserves credit. An exquisite person and a unique professionalism .. a man who has transmitted to us the true love for his land. Thank you for that, and thank you for being brave enough to show us the feline queen. We will always carry you in our hearts. Thank you Pollmans for crossing our paths. A hug from Italy
