Join us as we track down and watch the natural behaviours of Tsavo wildlife, from giraffes carefully navigating sharp thorns to pick fresh leaves and twigs of the Acacia trees, to Predators stalk impalas, gazelles, elands, zebras, fringe-eared oryx, dik-diks and other prey animals from the cover of sparse bush and shadows.
This immense action unfolds against a vigilant backdrop of grazing and foraging elephants, buffalos, rhinos and other large herbivores. Walking under tree canopies filled with scampering monkeys, baboons, galago and other tree dwellers, ready to sound an alarm at the slightest sign of danger.
With so many wildlife species within the diverse landscape, you will be delighted and thrilled every moment of your Experience with Expedition Happy Hour

Tsavo Travel & Safaris
Spend the entire Morning spotting game in Tsavo's semi-arid to arid habitat, Fed by the confluence of Tsavo and Athi rivers, which go on to form Galan River. Apart from its wildlife attractions, you will also get to see the aforementioned Yatta Plateau on the horizon which is billed as the world’s largest lava flow. For Lunch Kindly Discuss/Request guide in advance, for Options or Suggestions that best suites you After Lunch, Enjoy an Afternoon Game Drive as you appreciate Tsavo’s scenic views and the fact that it is a dry and unforgiving place where crowding into smaller spaces especially in the dry season for access to water and habitat is common. Making animals more susceptible to predators. On the plus side, as the weaker and the diseased became easy picking, only the fittest and those who have the best genetic material, father the next generation. Ensuring the species as a whole is more equipped to survive in this hardship.

Tsavo itself is stunning - huge and full of animals. One day trip is really too intensive, even no time for lunch, so it's worth to consider two day trip. Our guide Omar Rashid was great, eager to answer all questions. Also did his best to show us all possible animals across the park (in fact he managed to show us what others usually see only on two day trips - lions, giraffe, hippo, elephants, baboons and many more. Only downsize of this particular agency was the car. They use minivan style cars (with roof that opens as in any other safari car) but i believe that more terrain vehicles may be more comfortable for such a trip as we felt really like on a rollercoaster especially on park "roads". Huge downsize is with vehicle safety equipment especially for a long ride to and from park. Lack of safety belts is to me unacceptable if you travel for 150km at 100km/h.

What a great experience with Francis! Such a nice guy and really welcoming . Knew the park inside out and really knowledgeable about the all the animals. Really made my first safari experience a good one, would definitely recommend. Tip: don’t wear white, you will get very dusty and I learned the hard way.

A wonderful experience with an excellent guide, Kelly. We saw lots of animals and learned a lot of information. Suitable for younger children too; our 4-year-old daughter loved it. I highly recommend it.

We booked a day safari from Diani beach- an early start of 4:30 am and a long, bumpy journey because of the roadworks, we had a brilliant time at TSAvo east. We saw many animals including my favourite elephants and giraffes (the buffet lunch was over looking the elephants, gazelles & zebras by the watering hole) and our driver/guide Bindo was good at giving us plenty of time to watch and photograph the animals. A long, hot wonderful day and an unforgettable experience.

What an amazing day! We saw lots of animals including elephants, zebras, lions, cheetahs, giraffes, hippos, gazelles, monkeys, warthogs, vultures, ostrich, many birds & more! All thanks to our wonderful guide Francis, he drove us around searching for the animals, stopped for us to take pictures and watch the animals whenever he or we spotted anything. Great safe driver & very happy we had Francis and were lucky enough to see so many animals! Would definitely come again! Highly recommend!
