What To Expect
Fort Jesus Museum
You will be picked up from the port and taken to the Fort Jesus. This is Mombasa's oldest museum and it depicts the culture and the origin of the local people, mentioning the origin of Swahili. With a guide you will be able to trace the historical pattern leading to the influence of the sultans. In addition, you will learn the culture of the local people through different exhibitions. You will enjoy a walk in narrow streets of the Mombasa old town, passing through the famous fish market before driving to see the elephant tusks as a monuments of the ancient (now illegal) ivory trade. After, you will then walk in the market with lunch at a local dishes to sample the local cuisines.

5.00Our Trip was fantastic Vincent our driver who arived exactially on time met us at reception and we went through everything planned on the trip and had a veey good tour guide in Fort Jesus and through Old Towm Mombasa through the old narrow streets. Spice market was good also we got spice for fish and steak and cofee beans and masala tea there was lots of selections optional purchases. Got good photos at tge Tusks also and a good lunch in a italian restaurant then finished in Haller Park fkr giraffe feeding hippo feeding and crocodile feedings. Great trip for myself my mum and Wife to be. I strongly recomend that vincent should get a pay rise for all his hard work and keeping us safe in Mombasa.

5.00We booked a full day tour through Nelly. Vincent arrived on time and was very good. Unfortunately one hour into the tour I became very sick and Vincent tackled the traffic to get my back to the ship as quickly as possible. He then took my husband on the tour and looked after him very well…my husband has mobility problems. My husband said it was a wonderful tour. Nelly rang several times to check on me and pass the message to my husband. Thank you both

5.00Our driver was excellent and customized our trip so that we would have as many experiences possible including taking a public ferry over to another Island and riding in a took took and making sure we saw animal feedings at Heller Park. I have already recommended him to another couple that is going to Kenya soon
