Your beach tour to the old town of Mombasa is not complete without taking a day out to Tsavo national park. Tsavo national park is divided into west and east national parks. Tour to either of the two tour parks is the best decision to make, whether on a short or long coastal holiday.Tsavo National Park is the largest park in Kenya and consists of two separate parks, Tsavo East and Tsavo West. Altogether, Tsavo measures 21,000 square kilometers. The park is located between the cities of Mombasa and Nairobi and straddles the highway used to travel from one to the other. Tsavo National Park is known for its abundance of wildlife as well as a variety of geological features such as Mudanda Rock and Lugard Falls. Because Mudanda Rock towers over a natural dam, it is a good place to see elephants and other park inhabitants in the dry season. Other important features include the Yatta Plateau and the Aruba Dam.

I had the pleasure of having Geoffrey as a driver and guide to the Tsavo East national park. He was very prompt and courteous. He was able to answer all of the many questions we had. He was attentive to all of our needs as well as knowledgeable on all of the different animal species that we were able to see.We spent all of 11 hours with Geoffrey and we enjoyed every minute of it and would not hesitate to book another excursion with this company and Geoffrey. Kudos to your professionalism!

Our small group day trip to Tsavo National Park was nothing short of magical! From the moment we were picked up early in the morning, the guide was warm, knowledgeable, and made everyone feel welcome. The drive into the park was scenic, and we were lucky enough to spot elephants, giraffes, zebras, and even a pride of lions within the first few hours! The guide shared fascinating facts about the park’s history, wildlife, and conservation efforts, which made the journey even more enriching. Lunch was delicious and set in a spot with beautiful views of the savannah. The vehicle was comfortable, with plenty of space for everyone to enjoy the views and take photos. By the end of the day, I felt like I’d experienced a true African safari – thrilling, peaceful, and unforgettable. Highly recommend this trip for anyone looking to see the best of Tsavo in a single day!

unfortunately i could not recommend this safari. The guide did his best but organisation was hideous . Picked up at our hotel at 4am , then in a lorry lay-by for an hour waiting for two other guests who were not provided with the correct pick up time . Told we could ‘ sleep ‘ in the van whilst waiting for the other guests …… return journey even worse …… van was hot and uncomfortable . Would have been useful to also have an indication of what the day would like - but none . I messaged the company before recording this review but to date no response .

All was well. Getting to the park was an adventure but it was a delight once there. The encounters with elephant and other creatures more than made up for not seeing lion or giraffe. Stephen was friendly, knowledgeable, an amazingly capable driver, and a fine guide and game spotter. We didn't have spare cash for the stop at the massai village and weren't interested anyway. Let visitors know in advance if this is going to be an option.

An awesome experience that will stay with you forever. Stevie our guide was great and very knowledgeable about the Park and the animals. He did his best to find where all the animals were located by constantly being in touch with other guides. Lions were the highlight but also so many other fantastic memories were made that day!

The drive to and from the park is not for the faint hearted. It took us 16.5 hours there and back but we are in Kilifi. The drive through Mombasa on the way back was horrendous, with poor roads and gridlocked traffic. Enough of the negatives. The experience in the park was unforgettable. I have never seen so many herds of elephant and lone bulls. The park is vast and so you just have to be patient and hope the animals want to be seen. The elephants crossed our path and later we found a herd drinking and having a good scratch by the side of the road. It was just a wonderful experience that I will never forget and puts the horrendous journey in the back of my mind. We also saw ostrich, giraffe close up, zebra, eagles, buffalo and impala/antelope. No lions but it was hot in the afternoon when we had our best animal encounters and as they sleep nearly all day, would be hard to spot. Lunch was delicious at Sentrim camp and reasonable in price. I wanted to do the one day trip because we have another 2 day safari in a few days but it just gives a break from being by the beach. I would say that on these long journeys there should be 2 members of staff to drive. Peter our guide was amazing but was falling asleep at the wheel and that is dangerous for him and us. He left us in Kilifi at 9:30pm after a 5 am pick up and we feared for his safety heading back to Mombasa.

Very good organization and communication. Guides were really nice and kind. They also gave us information about some animals and other things on the way to the park. I can recommend this activity.
