Your safari begins with a pickup from your Arusha hotel or Kilimanjaro Airport at approximately 8:00 AM. After a 2-hour drive, you will arrive at the Tarangire gate for your first game drive. Tarangire is famous for its massive herds of elephants and the iconic, ancient Baobab trees that dot the landscape. What makes this park unique is the Tarangire River, which serves as the primary water source for wildlife in the region. During your drive, you can expect to see lions, giraffes, zebras, and buffaloes gathering near the water. It is a birdwatcher’s paradise with over 550 species, providing a wild and authentic bush experience before you head to your accommodation for the evening.

On the second day, you will drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area for a spectacular game drive inside the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera. This park is unique because it is a self-contained ecosystem with walls 600 meters high, acting as a natural enclosure for over 25,000 large animals. It is one of the best places in Africa to see the "Big Five" in a single day, especially the rare black rhino. You can expect to see dense populations of lions, hyenas, wildebeests, and vibrant pink flamingos at Lake Magadi on the crater floor. After an afternoon of wildlife viewing, you will ascend the crater rim and drive back to Arusha town or the airport for your departure.

5.00We have an ever better safari for 2 perfect days in Tarangire national park and overnight in Karatu at the mid-range lodge and next day follow by the beautiful paradise of Africa (Ngorongoro Crater). The tour company (Tanzania Songbirds Safaris) they not only bring you for the safaris but they create unforgettable memories for the safaris, our guide Yusuph is amazing and very knowledgeable about animals, he saw many animals even far distance and he's always respond our tough questions about Animals and Tanzania. We discovered a lot of animals in our 2 days and so much new we learn about nature, we are totally satisfied with Yusuph and Tanzania Songbirds Safaris, the safari jeep is very nice, accommodation and very good foods and drinks. Thanks to Tanzania Songbirds Safari for an unforgettable experience in Safaris, I recommend this tour company.

Our guide made this trip the best, we enjoyed the wildlife of Tanzania so much., The best accommodations in Karatu and good care. Our driver guide Erick is very gentleman and he knows so much about Tanzania. I recommend this safari company.

5.00Our 2 days became our entire year of 2025. Thanks so much to the Tanzania Songbirds Safaris for organizing everything, we enjoyed and appreciated the trip in general. On our safari we went to 2 different parks (Tarangire national park and Ngorongoro Crater). We are lucky enough to catch our best driver guide Erick, with him we saw a lot of animals and the big five by luck and the good skills of Erick to know the area of the park. We learned a lot and we realized we need to be back in Tanzania for more days for safari especially in Serengeti National park, We will come back one day in Tanzania again and Tanzania Songbirds Safaris will be our host again. Thank you again Erick and your team for making our trip unforgettable.

The company (Tanzania Songbirds Safaris) is nice and best to organize the entire trip for us and we are also very happy for our guides Erick and Denis that took us In all the parks and for their experience of longtime on safari we were able to see many animals, also to learn so interesting facts about animals. Erick and Denis work as a team to make sure our trip becomes unforgettable in Tanzania and we say thanks to them a lot and also Israel Mungure, who's the tour operator who contacted us since we requested for this safari. 5.00This experience is one of our best experiences I had in Africa Nature. We travel in 3 different parks in Northern Tanzania, we saw a big concentration of wildlife including the famous one (big five). Our guides always do their best for us especially to answer all our questions, they are very informative for their incredible knowledge about Tanzania Wildlife, very good for searching for animals in the park. Everything is so great from the food (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner) our stay (the lodges) and the best safari jeep. The schedule ran smoothly, which allowed us to completely relax and focus on enjoying every moment of the experience. The food was excellent throughout the trip — warm lunches every day, plenty of drinks, and even wine and coffee to keep us happy (a big win for all coffee lovers!). His passion and commitment to giving us the best possible safari were evident every single day. 5.00I didn't expect my two days of safaris with Tanzania Songbirds Safaris to enjoy that much as we did all of us. We booked our game drive for 2 days of safari in Tarangire Park and Ngorongoro crater. The best Safari driver guide Erick is a great man with a lot of knowledge and information about Tanzania Parks and wildlife, with his good and sharp eyes we were able to see many animals and he asked our favorite African animal on the beginning of this safari and by luck we found all of us our favorite but we all love animals and nature in general, Erick is one of the professional guide we ever met, Thanks so much for him. The food accommodations in Karatu, the good quality safari jeep, foods and drinks are all perfect. I recommend Tanzania Songbirds Safaris for the best unforgettable Tanzania Safari Experience.
