On this 2 day 1 night tour from the Eilat border you will visit Petra and Wadi Rum. This tour suits those who are arriving to the border from later in the morning on the first day and will visit Wadi Rum first. You can choose to stay overnight in Petra or Wadi Rum. Please note that both 02 options with the same rate (either staying in Petra or in Wadi Rum in case of the 3* hotel or Bedouin Camp ), departure will be through Queen Alia Airport / Amman / King Hussein Bridge .

What To Expect
Wadi Rum
You will arrive to the Eilat Border until 12.00 pm (maximum). You will complete the Israeli side of the border crossing by yourself and then cross into the Jordanian side where you will meet our representative who will be waiting for you with a sign with your name on it. You will be transferred 01hour to Wadi Rum, meet our Bedouin Representative at Wadi Rum Village and enjoy the Real Bedouin Hospitality (Bedouin Tea, Coffee etc). Enjoy the wilderness adventure of a 4x4 jeep tour of Wadi Rum, following in the footsteps of Lawrence of Arabia, climbing sand dunes and rock bridges. Start the 04-05 hour jeep tour with our English Speaking Bedouin who is your driver. The sites you are going to visit are : Nabatean Temple , Lawrence Spring , Sand Dunes , Khazali Canyon , Little Bridge , Um Frouth Rock Bridge , Lawrence House , Burdah Rock Bridge/Burdah Arch. You will enjoy a box lunch during the tour. 01 Hour Camel Riding is optional from Rum Village to Lawrence Spring (10 JD/15 USD per hour per camel). If you are staying in Wadi Rum you will be taken to the Bedouin Camp for overnight. Marvel at the stars in the sky and enjoy the legendary hospitality of the Bedouin with a traditional bbq dinner. Petra - Wadi Musa
Breakfast at the hotel or Camp. Today we head to visit the Nabatean Red Rose city of Petra, one of the 7 world wonders and a UNESCO World Heritage site. This fascinating ancient Nabatean capital dominated for a long time the Arabian trade routes, and is a must see in the Middle East. Meet your guide at the Visitor's Centre and start to explore the mystic site on a 03 hour guided tour. You pass the Siq, a narrow gorge where you get the first close views of the colorful sandstone, ending at the beautiful Treasury. Walk along the Street of Facades to the Royal Tombs, the Theatre and Qasr Al Bint. Free time on your own, then walk the same way back to the entrance gate. Lunch at a local restaurant in Wadi Musa or you can choose to have a box lunch to enjoy as a picnic in the site of Petra. Meet your driver again and drive you 03 hours to Amman / Queen Alia Airport / King Hussein Bridge (Allenby ) for drop off .

Unforgettable time in Jordan

5.00We had an amazing time in Jordan with a great tour organization. JHT organized pick up in Tel Aviv, border transfer to Jordan, Wadi Rum and Petra tour, as well us transfer from Aqaba to Amman airport for us. We travel a lot around the world, but those people made the time unforgettable for us. Highlight: We went out for a horse ride during sundown in Wadi Rum - a once in a life time experience. We had with Ali, a great and welcoming driver for all days and an adventerous day in Petra with Kamal the most entertaining guide ever. Really great was also communication with Mohammed, who was always reachebale for us in Jordan. Highly recommend Jordan Horizon Tours, when travel to Jordan - the know what they do 😊 Kind greetings from Austria Julia & Raffael

5.00JHT provided excellent service from the beginning to the end of our trip. It started with communications by emails and WhatsApp. All our questions and concerns were answered on time with clear and friendly clarifications. We met on the border on the Jordan side, and till the last moment in Jordan we felt that the company actually cares about our wellbeing, specifically: - communications with officials on the border were taken by company's representatives - experienced driver with a professional attitude drove us to Petra, to Wadi Rum, and back to the border. The car (spacious and comfortable sedan) had WiFi connection to Internet, and USB and socket chargers - we planned to use the backroad entry to Petra, but at the last moment this plan was changed because the backroad was not available due to maintenance work. Anyway, a high quality guide spent 6 hours with us making Petra walk memorable and enjoyable. - Wadi Rum Nights Luxury Camp gave us the best tent ( #11 ) with two beds. Normally only one bed option is available in stargazing ("bubble") tents. We were surprised by the tent's quality, especially by the modern shower and high water pressure . - good timing and impressive adventure on the second day in Wadi Rum with a Bedouin guide (8am-noon). We found that 4 hours is the optimal time for us to explore the Wadi Rum - met again with "our" driver, had a lunch in Wadi Rum (acceptable) - return to the border, met another JHT person who helped us to pass the border from Jordan side. 5.00Jordan Horizon Tours We used JHT in 2019 and again in 2021. To cross the border at Rabin , visit Petra and Wadi Ram , this time with our children . Their price was competitive, but more importantly their driver , guide and guide in Petra were highly professional and knowledgeable. You need to specify the level of dinner you want in Petra . Ours was so so . We will definitely use Horizon Tours again and reccomend them to our friends .
