Our experience with Qoricancha Expeditions was seamless from the initial contact. María, our travel advisor, responded promptly, provided clear itinerary details, and assisted with our hike preparations. All logistics, including tickets, transportation, hotel arrangements, and packing recommendations, were managed efficiently. We felt fully supported throughout, which made the experience both stress-free and enjoyable. Our group consisted of five hikers, creating a personal and engaging atmosphere. We met our guide, Víctor, at the train station early in the morning. He immediately demonstrated professionalism and courtesy. The hike began at Km 104, with a visit to Chachabamba, followed by a scenic ascent through mountain trails featuring orchids, waterfalls, and impressive views. Víctor provided valuable insights into Inca history, traditions, and the importance of each site. We paused for a boxed lunch near Wiñay Wayna, a notable ruin along the Inca Trail with remarkable views. Víctor assisted with group photos and maintained an appropriate hiking pace. The small group size encouraged connections among travelers, creating a welcoming and collaborative environment. Arriving at the Sun Gate (Inti Punku) in the afternoon provided a memorable view of Machu Picchu emerging through the mist, despite some cloud cover. We then continued to Aguas Calientes and stayed at Hotel La Jaya, a modern and comfortable hotel with a jacuzzi that offered welcome relaxation after the trek. The following morning, we took an early bus to Machu Picchu for a guided tour. Víctor’s explanations enhanced our understanding of the citadel’s history and significance. We appreciated the well coordinated and meaningful experience. Qoricancha Expeditions exceeded our expectations and is an excellent choice for those seeking a well-organized, small-group adventure in Cusco.

We had an amazing time with Qoricancha Expeditions on the 2 day Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu tour. Right from our first email, Erika, our travel advisor, stood out for her professionalism. She answered all our questions, made thoughtful adjustments for our family, and made sure we had all the information we needed. The itinerary she provided was clear and detailed, which helped us feel at ease before we even got to Peru. Juan guided us through the Sacred Valley, and he quickly became one of our favorite guides. His energy and humor made the day fun, and he shared fascinating stories about the Inca culture. We explored Pisac, Moray, and the Salt Mines, then went on to Ollantaytambo, where Juan showed us around the ruins with real enthusiasm. He also gave us helpful photography tips, so we could take great photos to remember the trip. After the train ride to Aguas Calientes, we checked in at La Jaya Hotel, which was an absolute gem. The rooms were modern and beautifully decorated, and the jacuzzi was the perfect way to rest our legs after a day full of exploring. The staff was attentive and kind, which made our short stay feel very special. The next morning was the best part: visiting Machu Picchu. Juan took us through famous spots like the Temple of the Sun and the Main Plaza, showing us details we never would have noticed ourselves. His stories made the place come alive. After that, we hiked up Huayna Picchu. It was steep and challenging, but reaching the top and seeing Machu Picchu from above was unforgettable. We came back to Cusco feeling tired but very happy. Erika organized everything perfectly, and Juan’s guidance made the trip special, so we never had to worry about the details. All the tickets, transfers, hotel, and meals were arranged for us, so we could just enjoy the adventure. It was an experience we’ll always remember.

From the start, everything with Qoricancha Expeditions was excellent. Maria, our travel advisor, helped us every step of the way, always with patience and professionalism. He gave us all the information we needed and answered our questions quickly. Their organization made us feel calm, knowing that every part of our 2-day tour of the Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu was well planned. We started the tour in the Sacred Valley, visiting Inca sites such as Pisac and Ollantaytambo, surrounded by incredible landscapes and local culture. Juan, our guide, was very friendly and knew a lot about Inca history and culture. Their explanations and accounts made each place special and helped us to further appreciate the wealth of the region. Then we went to Aguas Calientes and spent the night at the Tierra Viva Machu Picchu Hotel, which was very comfortable and welcoming, ideal to rest before visiting Machu Picchu. The next day, we entered the citadel early and John gave us an excellent guided tour, showing us temples, terraces and the most famous viewpoints. His explanations helped us understand the genius of Inca architecture and the spiritual value of this place. At the end of the guided tour, we were able to climb Huayna Picchu Mountain. Although it was challenging, the hike was worth it for the incredible views of Machu Picchu from above, an experience we will always remember. Everything was very well organized and, thanks to Mary and John’s guidance, this trip was unforgettable. We recommend Qoricancha Expeditions to those who want to know Peru.

We booked the 2 day Sacred Valley to Machu Picchu Tour with Qoricancha Expeditions, and everything was organized perfectly from start to finish. Our travel advisor Erika was fantastic. She always replied quickly to our emails, gave us clear information, and made sure everything went smoothly. Having this support before the trip really put us at ease. The first day exploring the Sacred Valley was incredible. Our driver David made sure we had a comfortable and safe ride as we visited fascinating Inca sites and took in the beautiful scenery. In the afternoon, we boarded the Vistadome Train, which had panoramic windows and cultural entertainment. When we arrived in Aguas Calientes, we stayed at La Jaya Hotel. It was cozy, modern, and had excellent service, making it a great place to relax before our visit to Machu Picchu. The highlight of the trip was definitely our visit to Machu Picchu. Our guide Juan was outstanding. He led us through the citadel and shared stories and explanations that made the history of the Incas come alive. We also had tickets to hike Huayna Picchu. The climb was tough, but the views from the top over Machu Picchu were unforgettable. It truly felt like a once-in-a-lifetime moment. Overall, this 2 day tour was everything we had hoped for and more. The quick responses from the office, the professionalism of Erika, Juan, and David, and the well-planned itinerary made the whole experience seamless and unforgettable. The two day Moray Maras tour to Machu Picchu provided comprehensive exposure to significant archaeological and cultural sites. The initial day included visits to the agricultural terraces of Moray and the salt mines of Maras, both of which exemplify Incan engineering and innovation. The guide, Victor, demonstrated extensive knowledge and effectively communicated detailed information throughout the tour. Travel through the Sacred Valley offers immersion in a landscape characterized by mountains and traditional villages. The itinerary is structured to provide sufficient time at each site, minimizing haste. By evening, participants are transported to Aguas Calientes, where accommodations are arranged in advance. The small group format facilitates a more focused and efficient experience. The highlight was the guided tour of Machu Picchu the next morning. Victor enhanced the experience by sharing the site's history, legends, and key viewpoints. His guidance deepened our appreciation for both the beauty and spiritual significance of Machu Picchu. On the way back to Cusco, we took the Vistadome Observatory train, which has big windows, live music, and comfy seats. The tour mixes history, culture, and nature into just two days. It’s a great choice if you want to see more than just Machu Picchu.

Planning a trip to Peru can feel overwhelming, but Qoricancha Expeditions made it easy. After looking at several agencies, I chose them because they were professional and quick to respond. My travel advisor gave me all the details I needed about availability, train times, places to stay, and how to make the most of my itinerary. I got my booking confirmation, tickets, and hotel info right away, which made everything smooth before I even arrived. The team’s careful attention set the tone for a great trip. The first day started with a hotel pickup and a scenic drive through the Sacred Valley. Our guide, Juan, stood out for his knowledge, patience, and genuine passion for Inca history. We explored the Pisac ruins and its lively market, enjoyed a tasty lunch in Urubamba, and then visited Ollantaytambo, where the terraces and temples gave us amazing views. At each stop, Juan shared not only the history but also the living culture and traditions of these places. By afternoon, everything was set for us to catch the train to Aguas Calientes. We arrived relaxed, checked into a comfortable hotel, and had the evening to unwind and get ready for the highlight of our trip: Machu Picchu. The second day was truly memorable. Early in the morning, we took the bus to Machu Picchu, where Juan guided us through the citadel with impressive detail, showing us hidden corners, temples, and terraces we would have missed on our own. His stories made the site feel alive and helped us picture what life was like for the Incas. After plenty of time for photos and soaking in the views, we went back to Aguas Calientes to catch the Vistadome Observatory train, which was a comfortable and scenic ride that made the journey even more special. At Ollantaytambo, our driver was ready to take us safely back to Cusco. Every detail was handled perfectly from start to finish. We can honestly say that Qoricancha Expeditions offers excellent service, with small groups, expert guides, and the kind of attention that makes you feel appreciated. If you are thinking about this tour, go for it. They will make it a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
