Amazing trip with our guide Tony!! From pickup at the airport to drop off back in Kigali everything was amazing!! Tony was very funny and attentive to all our needs! The gorilla trek was even better than we could have imagined. The hike was very hard, up to 10K feet. But there are easier gorilla families to visit. Highly recommend doing this if you have the budget!

Right from the beginning the communication was very good and fast, booking was very easy. Our guide Theo was absolutely fantastic – very attentive, well organized, and a calm, safe driver, which we really appreciated. Seeing the Gorillas really was a trip of a lifetime.

For primate lovers, especially gorillas, it’s a unique opportunity to see them in their natural, wild environment. It takes some determination to face the trip, which is not so close to Kigali, and also to go on a hike through the jungle. All of this adds to the thrill for those who truly know how to enjoy it. And the encounter is really intimate—you’re almost close enough to touch the gorillas.

What an amazing experience! Did 17 days visiting all Rwanda’s national parks, and doing both gorilla trekking and chimp trekking. I actually do a couple African safari trips a year (retired, it’s my hobby) but this was my first visit to Rwanda & Uganda… and I absolutely LOVED it! I worked with Reginal from Rwanda Eco Co & Safaris for over a year planning this- and he couldn’t have been more kind, helpful, and professional. Even though it’s a pretty prominent company, he made me feel like I was the only customer! He had such GREAT recommendations for things to see and do, and really understood exactly what I wanted and how to make this trip perfect! Our local guide, Jado, was great- felt like a long lost friend, he so accommodating and we enjoyed our time with him. We learned so much from him! All the places we stayed were absolutely wonderful, and the activities were perfect… and of course seeing the gorillas up close is just incredible! Rwanda is now very near & dear to my heart, and I will definitely be back again! Also going to reach out to Rwanda Eco Company & Safaris to book some of the other destinations I like to go to in Africa (like Kenya & Tanzania) as they book trips in other areas besides just Rwanda. Can’t say enough good about Reginal and everyone on his team, as well as all the wonderful Rwandans we met on our trip… THANK YOU!

I had an unforgettable experience with Rwanda Eco for my gorilla trek. Everything was organized perfectly from start to finish. Communication was excellent—quick, clear, and professional. They went above and beyond by helping me rent some essential gear I hadn’t brought, which made a huge difference. My guide was punctual, knowledgeable, and incredibly friendly. The trek itself was once-in-a-lifetime, and I can’t recommend Rwanda Eco highly enough for anyone looking to do it right.

Completed a great 8-day tour in Rwanda and Uganda last week. Each experience topped my expectations. I was especially grateful for my phenomenal guide, Robert. Thanks to his knowledge, language skills and experience I was able to seamlessly navigate the transition between countries and enjoy the beauty of both countries.

AMAZING company that will provide you with the most incredible experience in your travel journey. Great communication from start to finish from Reginal, the owner. We actually got to meet him in person, and he was very helpful with recommendations and advice. Our driver, Tonny, was the most wonderful person. He was kind, supportive, positive, and very cautious while driving (especially in Rwanda with all those hidden cameras!). We had a great time with Tonny, as he joined us through the entire journey to see gorillas in Mgahinga National Mark. The gorilla treking tour was mindblowing. A lifetime experience that we will never forget. Rwanda Eco Safari will definitely make sure that your efforts to travel to this incredible place are 100% worth it.

I would like to rate my experience with Rwanda Eco Company and Safaris in three categories: staff, facility and places visited. Regarding the staff: I was very impressed and pleased with their kindness, attention and how prompt they were in providing for my needs. When I came back from the Gorilla Tracking, my shoes were a mess, I did not think they were ever going to be the same anymore but one of the staff took them and cleaned making them look like new again! The driver was punctual, friendly and was able to answer most of the questions I had. The safari truck was very clean, the ride was a bit rough but I guess you cannot expect a soft and smooth ride from a safari truck, it would be asking too much. Regarding the facility: The room was spacious and clean. The view from the restaurant was just gorgeous. The food was very good. Regarding the places visited: Visiting the Golden Monkeys was well worthed. The animals are beautiful and very interesting to watch. The Gorilla Tracking was way beyond my expectations! I never imagined that I could get as close to a gorilla family as I did. This was one of the most beautifull and amazing experiences I've had in my entire life! Advise: Take plenty of change (preferably local money) to tip the folks that help you (guides, trackers, porters, drivers, staff, etc.). That will help them offset the low wages they receive. I have visited different countries in Africa, but visiting Rwanda was very special. I loved the people, their sence of dignity and respect is something to be admired. You do not find trash anywhere! The roads are swept clean by the residents, no potholes, and no beggars. I hope to go back to Rwanda in the near future to visit other places.

I had a fantastic day with my driver and a unique time with the gorillas. Despite booking at short notice, everything worked out great. I was picked up on time and everything was explained to me. The time with the gorillas was a lifelong dream. The meal in the restaurant afterwards was excellent. I would like to highlight my driver again, who took care of my well-being.

Great experience. Was able to adjust with our delayed flights. If you want a longer or shorter trek be sure to tell them in advance.
