Building on the highlights of the 1-hour tour, this extended journey takes you deeper into the mangrove ecosystem, allowing you to explore a larger area and uncover its magical underwater world. Guided by a certified expert, you’ll paddle to an exclusive snorkeling spot accessible only by kayak. Spend approximately 25 minutes marveling at vibrant marine life and the intricate ecosystems hidden beneath the surface. On your return, keep an eye out for sea turtles gliding gracefully through the clear waters, a perfect ending to an unforgettable experience. 4.00Guide gave good nature education before and during the tour. Easy kayak although a group is always awkward. Check with them about any suggestions re: tides and visibility before you schedule. Saw a lot even though it was a bit murky. Fresh water shower after was good.

5.00Great experience to kayak and snorkel through the Mangrove, because of the strength of the current the first part of snorkeling was tough but back wonderful with the current. Definitely worth doing!! The guide also gave clear explanations in the center itself but also on the water.

Our guide at the center was very knowledgeable and did a great job explaining the important role of mangroves and we learned so much about the trees as well as the maintenance they’re doing at the Mangrove Center. The kayak tour was great as we headed through the mangroves - lots a shade and very calm water. There were times, particularly when crossing a large open area, the pace was really fast. We are fit but had to work really hard to keep up. Maybe kayaking just isn’t our strongest skill! We found the snorkeling to be a little disappointing. We swam through a mangrove tunnel - which was cool, but we’ve been diving for several days, so the visibility seemed pretty poor compared to what we were accustomed to. All in all, it was a lot of fun and I highly recommend the kayaks! I might just warn scuba divers to skip the snorkeling tour.

4.00End of the day this tour done. Not too hot and fortunately little to no mosquitoes. Beautiful surroundings and nice quiet kayaking through the mangrove. The bit of snorkeling was a bit disappointing. I think this bit is used by all the kayakers, because there wasn't much life underwater. All in all a relaxed afternoon and enjoyed.
