A two hour sailing in Vestmannaeyjar on a RIB speedboat. During this trip we will sail with you to the most popular islands in our archipelago. You will see the elephant rock, a lot of wildlife, nature, islands and sea caves. You will get to know the history of Vestmannaeyjar and see unique rock formations. In good sea conditions we will even sail to Súlnasker, which is without a doubt the most magnificent island or skerry in Westman islands. The island’s cliffs rises up 60-70 meters and stands on four posts. If we are lucky we will also see some whales and seals. This is a sightseeing tour with a twist as you get an adrenaline kick at the same time on our RIB Boats. Our guides will take good care of you and you will certainly have a blast.

A minimum of 6 people on each trip and we only sail if we have put together a group of six people or more. In case that does not happe we might need to cancel our trip or move you to a another trip

We provide you with warm protective clothing; float suit and life jacket but recommend you to take a hat and gloves with you.
Alcohol and RIB boat trips do not go hand in hand

Our office is at Tangagata 7 in Vestmanneyjar - you need to be out our office 30 minutes prior to the trip
Vestmannaeyjar
We will sail to the small islands in Vestmannaeyjar, into several sea caves, check out the elephant rock, see puffins, kittiwakes, gannets and other sea birds. Then we will head out to the islands that are further away and even to the magnificent gannet island (Súlnasker). We might even spot some whales and seals during this trip.

On this tour, take to the water by powerful RIB and explore the archipelago with your guide at the helm. Hold tight as you bounce over the waves at speed, spotting eider and puffins among the sea caves and admiring unique, massive rock formations in the high cliffs. Along the way, watch for seals and whales breaching the waters—true immersion in Iceland's wild side.

5.00I thoroughly enjoyed my 2 hour round trip. All the staff in the office and on the trip were extremely friendly and helpful. Seeing the puffins was the highlight of my trip but the chance to venture inside the sea caves and view the islands from the sea was amazing too. It is a trip I will always remember and one of the highlights of my time in Iceland.

5.00Our Rib Boat Adventure tour was really a highlight in Iceland. The music played during parts of our trip was fabulous(great selections) and we especially loved the acoustics ***inside the caves! Incredibly fun! Scenery- off the charts! Just a truly wonderful ride!!

5.00After almost 30 vacations in Iceland, we finally carved out time for the islands...so glad we did! The views in every direction are stunning, so a great way to see a lot more of the archipelago up close is the 2-hour RIB boat tour. Every aspect of the experience met and exceeded our expectations. The team is very welcoming & helpful. They were present to assist everyone as we put on our drysuits + life jackets, gave clear instructions for safety and enjoyment, and provided excellent storytelling along the way! The music is loud but super appropriate to the adventure of speedboating over the waters. The sea was a bit active for us, so we were sprayed plenty of times, which only added to the fun. We were able to see many thousands of puffins & other seabirds all around us, as well as some seals on a shore. We went into two caves and enjoyed plenty of fast boating vibes! The price for this experience is very fair, and left us feeling more connected to Vestmannaeyjar and Iceland overall. Also, they tell you to stand up and hold on when the music plays and the boat goes faster....so do it!

5.00I think we only went on a 1-hr tour due to the choppiness of the water that day. The tour company was gracious and refunded us half the payment back. We still got to visit around the Westman Islands and hear stories of the lonely houses, puffins, pirates, etc. It was a great speedboat trip! The staff were super nice and took care of us through the whole process! So much fun!
