What To Expect
If you've been diving in the last 18 months, then join our small guided dive group and we’ll take you diving on two of Curacao’s best shore dive sites – Pierbaai Reef and Car Pile. If it's been longer than 18 months, check out our Refresher dive instead :) These beautiful dive (and snorkel!) sites are right across the road from The Dive Bus dive center. The shallow, protected sandy bay and gently sloping reef are perfect for diving and snorkeling at all levels of experience (including none at all). When you love this you can always book more dives to other locations around the island :)

4.00Very friendly staff. This is a small dive operation right outside of Willemstad. I wish the sight was more scenic or rural. The home reef and dive sights were just okay to us. They are very helpful with less experienced divers. I wish they were more flexible with their cancellation policy.

5.00Working with The Dive Bus was nothing but excellent. Everyone on staff is super friendly and gets back to you right away. My guide Colin was fantastic, we two great dives and saw lots of great marine life. I’d 10/10 recommend.

5.00We had a great experience diving with The Dive Bus in Curaçao. We did 5 x 2 tank shore dives over 7 days. The entire crew is extremely organized and clearly safety focused, which made us feel confident from start to finish. This was our first time shore diving, and the guides were incredibly patient as they taught us how to safely get in and out of the water. That guidance and physical help was especially important for me, as I am a bit older and the equipment can be heavy. The guides were knowledgeable, fun, and attentive, striking the perfect balance between professionalism and enjoyment. We especially want to recommend our guides Gwen, Collin, and Lucy. They were outstanding. The reefs are also in good shape relative to others I have seen in the Caribbean. The dive groups were small, and everyone we dove with took their diving seriously, regardless of experience level, which made for a great overall atmosphere. This is truly the best dive shop I have ever dealt with, and I highly recommend The Dive Bus to anyone diving in Curaçao. We also felt that the price we paid for our dives was reasonable and worth it.

5.00Sadly, I was not able to dive with this provider because US Naval activity around Venezuela prevented my cruise ship from docking at Curaçao. It was not dive, buses fault in any way, but they still provided me with a full refund. I feel bad because I’m sure they prepared tanks. This is the mark of a highly reputable and honourable company. Character speaks volumes.

5.00Fantastic shop!! Everything was very clear and well organized from booking to diving. They were quick to respond to questions and reached out far in advance to confirm equipment needs. Gwen was friendly and helpful as could be for the first day dives right across the street from the shop. I then had Silvia for the following two days, and she really helped improve my diving, encouraging me to try a new weight distribution that proved beneficial. I hope to come back soon!

5.00We spent the week diving, and enjoyed incredible people who took great care of us at the dive bus. Steve welcomed us and made preparation for our first dive at their home reef with Lucy super easy. Their dive plans and communication were top notch. Sylvia drove us to several other dive sights. Calm in the water, Sylvia found us lots of things to look at. And Gwen took us on our first ever night dive - the incredible octopus were the highlight. And Collin led a great dive and shared his knowledge of the island as well. 10/10 overall experience. Will be back. Oh, and water temperature was 29 Celsius! So nice!

5.00Another awesome dive vacation with The Dive Bus crew. Zoe helped plan our vacation and set up the rental car for us ahead of the trip. We started our diving with a 2 tank dive on the house reef with Collin. Always spectacular dives, the reef had tons of juvenile fish, so happy to see the reef so healthy. Our next trip out was with Lucy to Tugboat and Director’s Bay. We saw a big lobster, turtles, squid, an octopus and tons of blennies on that trip. In between we did several indy dives, also facilitated by TDB. We followed up with a couple West end dives with Collin and pizza at Sol Food. Thank you to Gwen and Steve for your help in the dive shop. A special shout out to Sylvia for always smiling and helping out when we were getting ready to head out diving. An extra special congratulations to Mark and Suzy on the 20 th birthday of The Dive Bus!!!! See you all next year <*))))><
