Riga Sightseeing Service - is a tourist agency that for over 17 years has been offering Hop on-Hop off sightseeing tours in Latvia, Riga, on the red double-decker buses.
Today, we are the largest company in the city providing this kind of service in 11 languages - Russian, Latvian, English, German, Swedish, Norwegian, Finnish, Spanish, French, Italian and Lithuanian.
In the summer, our double-decker open-top buses depart from the Triangula Bastion (11.Novembra Krastmala 17) of the Old Town between 9:45 and 15:45, every 60 minutes(June-September) and 10:15-14:45(October-May) . There are main and additional stops on the routes.
In the autumn/Winter, in the cold season we operate warm and cozy double-decker buses. Depart from the Triangula Bastion between 15:15 and 14:45, every one and a half hour.
The route of our buses are maximally adapted for effective acquaintance with the city.
Ticket for our bus you can use up to 24h!

What To Expect
Duration:1 hour
Operating Schedule:Main stop A - Triangula Bastion (11.Novembra Krastmala 17) Ticket is valid up to 24h. We are working every day, from Monday to Sunday. In summer season(June-September) we are starting at 9:45 in the morning, and are working until 15:45, and buses are operating every 30-60 min. In low winter season(October- May) we are working from 10:15 until 14:45(Friday to Sunday), buses are operating every one and a half hour.

1.00We wasted our money because we couldn't find the bus. Then bus driver had some problems. We had to transfer the bus.we hardly enjoy your tour for less than 1 hour.

3.00Stops are not clearly marked, we waited for a bus at the place we had been dropped off, eventually we called a taxi as we wasn't sure it was even a bus stop. Riga is small you can easily walk around and see everything without having to get a bus

1.00Stood for ages in the cold at the location given to redeem tickets on the Viator app as advised. Found out this is completely the wrong place to be and missed the bus. The guy in the main square was rude and just told us he has nothing to do with internet bookings. This is a really difficult trip to navigate. So t bother booking online.

2.00We are used to discover a city with this kind of bus because it allows to have a comment in French. what disappointed us is the schedule "high season"!!; We took the 1st bus at 9:45. The tour lasts about 1 hour. Which we did fortunately. According to the brochure in "high season" (we are in August) there is a bus every 30 minutes (sometimes 10 min late). First bad surprise we waited more than an hour to catch the bus (after our visit to the Cathedral of the Nativity). What a waste of time to visit. We finally got a bus at 3:40. Arriving at the Check-out point at 4pm, the driver told us it was the last lap. The last round starts at 14:45 and ends at 16:00!! This is the first time that such a tour is done between 9.45am and 4pm, in the other cities tested (Brussels, Dublin, Oxford..) the last tour is at 6pm. Really disappointing. Even if it is cheaper than in the other islands, it is not worth the Award given.

5.00The bus tour and narration of the city was informative. The city was in the midst of setting up for a festival but even with the closed streets and heavy traffic on the route the ride good. Well worth the money.

3.00The driver was about as friendly as a rabid porcupine. Charm school is missing a student right now. There is no time schedule for these buses. Trying to get a straight answer on timing is crazy. They gave out a lot of bad information and you waste more time waiting for a bus with no time schedule. I found myself thinking of timing versus enjoying the time. Downloading bolt would have been cheaper, time effective and allow you to enjoy the day. My candid response.

5.00The advantage of taking the Hop On Hop Off is getting an idea of the sights in Riga before deciding your activities for the day. One of the main criticisms of the bus tour is the lack of signs for where it stops.
