All skills and knowledge that you will get during this course will give you a new way to interact with the ocean, and you will be able to dive safely and explore the underwater world with friends on a breath-hold!

The majority of the students can go as deep as 15-20 meters within 3 days. The skills you will get during the course will help you to reach this depth in the safest and most comfortable way.

What To Expect

Freediving Level 1 course is an important, smooth and measured introduction to the soundless world of freediving. Everyone is welcomed to take this course even if this would be their first experience of water activities. It is a perfect opportunity for you to build a connection with water and start to enjoy being in it. You are going to have 3 days of study starting at 8:30 am till 16:30 pm (including a break for lunch). The course includes the theoretical and practical sessions on the land, 2 confined water sessions, and 3 open water sessions. At the end of the course, most of the students can hold the breath more than for 2 minutes and can dive as deep as 15-20 meters on a one single breath! No previous experience required! You only need to be able to swim to participate in the course. Freediving is for Everyone!

Wonderful experience! We did Wave 1 course with Sabli who is a fantastic instructor. Everything was super clear, gear was good quality and course was very well organised. Comparing to other Freediving courses this one is superior! Strongly recommend!

A great experience! All the staff at the school are really nice, and our teacher Artem was awesome. He took so good care of each one of us in the course, was considarate yet pushing to the right direction to challenge me. Myself I had almost no diving or open water experience before the course (just a swimming hobbyist), it was challenging but with this environment I fully recommend to anyone who’s bern wanting to try freediving. Now I want more, although I’m still such a beginner. All communication with the school before the course, plus good options to pay the fee were excellent. ps. there is homework to do before the course, be sure to be ready, theory is an important part of freediving.

It was so cool to free-dive! First I was afraid of being in the water without breathing but got used to it gradually. Roberto was my instructor and he was very supportive and super nice! Will continue practicing in Korea. Awesome experience!

My partner and I did the Wave 1 course with Seva, and we had a fantastic experience. Seva is an incredible teacher, very knowledgeable, patient, kind, and funny. I felt safe and looked after. The course was well organised, and it was great communication before and during. The pre-course material was excellent and easy to understand, I recommend studying the materials provided before the course starts. The theory sessions were very informative. Seva found a good mixture between passing knowledge and making it entertaining. The practice sessions (2 times pool and three times open water) were enjoyable and challenging. Seva did exercises with us on relaxation and breathing gymnastics. I feel like we have gotten a good first level of understanding on how to freedive. I have got nothing to compare this with but I'd go back to Seva for more education on freediving.

The best people I could ever learn freediving from! Did Wave 1 with them in August and joined for the Komodo trip in October. Both times were amazing, my instructor Hamza, was super patient and extremely kind. He gave me confidence to go deep into the ocean all by myself. Kirill and the rest of the team, hats off to them for creating a safe, welcoming and exciting environment for any level of freedivers! Will be joining again for more adventures 🤙🏽🌀💙

I just finished my Wave 1 and Wave 2 courses at Freedive Nusa, and it was amazing. The tropical setting in Nusa Penida is perfect for diving. All the team were professional, encouraging and caring, making me feel supported from day one. Gaston, my instructor, was superb— He really helped me build confidence and improve my skills. The clear blue waters made every dive incredible. If you want to learn freediving in a beautiful place, I cannot recommend this here enough!

Gas and Chiara were incredible instructors! Their teaching style is fun and relaxed. The theory was well presented so the key points were easy to remember. The support, encouragement and feedback I received in the water helped me improve my Freedives. The facilities and equipment were also at a high standard. Could not recommend the instructors and diving course enough!!
