A safari to Meru National Park is ideal for travelers searching for something off the beaten track. The park is one of the lesser visited yet most scenic park in Kenya with Mt. Kenya visible in the far distance. It is also known for its elephant herds and the rare Gerenuk antelope. The park is truly a bird watchers paradise with over 400 species recorded.
This Safari gives you a chance to view a rich variety of wildlife including the big five - elephant, buffalo, rhino, leopard and lion as well as cheetah, hippo, zebra, giraffe, hartebeest, oryx, oribi, water-buck and abundant bird life.
Tour departs daily, subject to availability, Starting and Ending in Nairobi.

Our Driver-guide will pick you from the airport or hotel at 8:00 am drive north to Meru National Park. You will be in your own private safari vehicle. Stop briefly en-route at Equator to see it. Arrive at overnight camp in Meru National Park for lunch. After some time at rest embark on your first Safari Game drive at 3:30 pm allowing you to see the wonderful creatures that populates the park. Return to the camp by evening.

Enjoy full day in Meru National park with morning [ 6:15 am to 9:00 am ] and afternoon [ 3:30 pm to 6:30 pm ] game drives. As your safari is private your game drive timings are flexible, useful if you are travelling with children, or are on a honeymoon. You may also choose to have a full day game drive [ one for the whole day] with a packed picnic lunch at no extra cost. Return to the camp by evening.

5.00My family and I enjoyed a fantastic three-day safari around the Masai Mara which I had organised via Shoor Travel. Joy was informative, responsive and maintained great communication throughout. Our guide John was friendly, knowledgeable and welcomed requests from our party regarding what we wanted to try and see etc. We stayed at Keekorok Lodge which was a home away from home, with great facilities, friendly staff, delicious food and a wonderful added bonus of the hippo bar which is a must see. It was a wonderful experience and I would definitely recommend Shoor Travel for anyone thinking of doing a safari.

5.00My trip with the Shoor Africa was incredible. My tour guide, John, was part os the Massai Tribe. He was very knowledgable, patient and had a great personal story. The food at the camp was lovely, and staff overall very friendly.
