After an early breakfast, you will set out for an exhilarating day of gorilla trekking. Yours The guide will provide a briefing about gorilla trekking protocols and safety measures before heading into the dense forests of Mgahinga. The trek can vary in duration depending on the location of the gorilla family you are assigned to visit; it may take anywhere from one hour to several hours. Once you encounter these magnificent creatures, you will have one hour to observe them in their natural habitat. Witnessing their behavior up close is a truly humbling experience that leaves lasting memories. In the evening, after the Gorilla Trekking, you will be transferred back to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Kalinzu Central Forest Reserve
After breakfast at your lodge, head towards Kalinzu Forest Reserve for chimpanzee trekking. The reserve is home to over 300 chimpanzees along with other primate species such as blue monkeys and red-tailed monkeys. Your experienced guide will lead you through the forest as you search for these fascinating primates. Once located, spend an hour observing their social interactions and behaviors within their natural environment.
